WeatherTech Floor liners, problems and fixes. Toyota Tundra install.

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hey all, I recently upgraded my Toyota All Weather mats to some WeatherTech Floor Liners. While the Toyota mats performed well, they did let debris slip under the mat and get embedded in your vehicle's carpet. The WeatherTech Floor Liners are supposed to be better at preventing that. So let's have a look at swapping them out in the Toyota Tundra and see what issues I had with the floor liners right off. Thanks for watching, and if you haven't please subscribe it really helps the channel grow.

I've seen videos that show problems with Huskey mats too. I've had several WeatherTech mats for various vehicles, so I ordered WeatherTech mats again. I'm all for free enterprise and competition in the marketplace, but I'm happy with my WeatherTech mats in the front and back of my 2016 Tundra TRD Pro. WeatherTech had 2 versions for the rear and I went with the ones that won't run under the rear seats of my CrewMax because I plan to mod it with commercially available underseat storage that requires cutting out of carpet and insulation to install it.

I ordered Huskies first and they wouldn’t lay flat after a week, so I bought the WTs. As for the storage under the seat, I have a detailed video of installing mine last year. Thanks for commenting and please subscribe.

I went with the husky on my 17' platinum. I'm very happy with the fit and quality. Love the videos keep them coming.

I bought some Huskies for my Tacoma years ago and could never get them to flatten down to fit properly which Is why I went this route. The WeatherTechs seem to be doing great so far. Thanks for commenting and if you haven't please subscribe.

That looks like a return to me. Go with Huskies as Trail Rider mentioned, they are way better!

I have Tux Mats, my wife Muddy Buddy/WeatherTech liners, in the same exact car. Neither are perfect. Both liners slightly get in the way of depressing your clutch easily. The Tux Mat liners are slightly worse in this regard.

I like their quality but did another video trying out some Huskies in the front. The huskies are less slippery.

The weather tech are way too slippery and they eventually curl like you mentioned. After two sets for two different cars, I got Husky’s as well.

Since they were just out of the box I didn’t want to try that. I just put some weight on them over night. Thanks for watching.
