Nice job.
Thank you
I hope the tow truck parks your truck in the correct section of the yard.
I know from personal experience i wanted to run the factory trd wheel after I got my ironman 3.5in lift so i went with 34's on the new wildpeak at4s but by design of the tire I guess the sidewall was against the upper control arm so i had to aftermarket offset which turned into a bodymount chop from a small rub on the frame. More than i wanted to spend but i loved the at3s so i wanted to give the at4s a shot. I known I could have went with a different brand and should have been fine. I hope this helps someone in the future. Thanks for your contributions, be safe and be blessed!
Hey, thanks for that info I’m sure it will help someone sort things out.
So... 275 70 18 with bilstein 5100s get rubs... damn everyone else i talk to say you can get away with no rub..with 295s with +18 to 25 offset
Awesome explanation! - I'm running a similar set up: 2015 Tundra dblcab with 3.5" Ironman Foam Cell Pro lift - The front coils came pre assembled but I ended up having my shop lower the fronts about an inch because it was just too harsh and there wasn't much rake. Anyhoo, I first had the Method 705's with +25 offset/BFG KO2. I now have the Method 706 with +35. I also have 275/70/18. My question is, will the rubbing in reverse increase or decrease at the wheel goes OUT. That part gets confusing as I've been thinking of going with the new Wildpeak AT/4's. Question 2: When you installed the fender flares, did you install clear tape/vinyl underneath to protect the paint. Are they Bushwackers? I'm seeing Husky brand and they look identical.
@@thebigempty_5792 the flares are Bushwackers and there is no protection under the flare. I removed the fronts once and the paint looked great. As for rub, a +18 does rub a little but I really think it depends on the width and height of the tire.
Excellent video.
Ya made me punch the subscribe button. I own a 2022 Tundra Platinum but I just love Tundra content so this was an awesome watch!
@@MyBeardBetter thank you, and thanks for watching.
Are you running any coach build shackles?
@@qouavang3646 no, just the Airbags and Bilstein 5100s.
I have the same truck and same size tires on order. What psi are you running in them?
@@livinglife69 if they are E Load range tires like mine, I run 42PSI middle of the night cold.
Well, ordered a mat from Amazon, good reviews but it’s a piece of garbage. Ordered a Covercraft… you get what you pay for!
@@jkuoverland8507 yes, I have been burned before. Thanks for watching.

Do yours vibrate between 60 and 70 mph? It goes away before that speed or at 80+. 285/75/17 on 2016 f250. Had to air them down 80 psi was bouncing me all over the road been playing with it I’m at 45 front 40 rear. Just heard you say the wobbling at highway speeds how did you get rid of that?
@@whipwhiphco9430 I have the E load range tires with a max PSI of 80 PSI. OEM tire pressure calls for 32 PSI. At 32 I got a wobble from 50-60mph. After trial and error I settled at 42PSI cold, I mean middle of the night cold at that. No more wobble. If you still have issues try road force balancing and possibly an alignment.
How long did it take you?
@@LauraWellness about thirty minutes. Don’t do it in hot temps, wear gloves, and possibly mask.
@@828findadventure i just went thru the new fancy car wash in town. Do you think it left residual wax and what not that would interact poorly with the restore product if I used it today?
@@LauraWellness I’m not sure. You could always wipe it down with rubbing alcohol first.

E rating has o to do with sidewalls it is how many pounds the tire can carry.. e should b about 3000 lbs...the xtra sidewall strength is because it has 3 plies instead of 2 so u should b able to drop that tire pressure when not hauling and get a great ride without squishiness
In my Tundra, all E load range tires wobble at OE PSI.
All at4 now come with 3 plies on walls. Even sl rated. Plies refer to the total plies used to build the tire
has anyone done this on a 2024 sport trim ?
Wtf, why you need to removed each part part individually. Why can't you just removed the whole bumper as one pieace. There has to be a better way. This make it way complicated.
Toyota and Honda over build everything. Multiple pushpins, 10mm bolts and clips on the same part. It’s so frustrating, but if I find a better way I will post it.
I drive a 23 sr5 Tacoma, I’m stuck between the geolanders and these wild peak at4s, looking for a solid mild a/t for the look but one that is quiet and doesn’t tank my mpg, you seem to have experience with both tires what do you recommend?
@@ginotirone3286they both are very quiet. BUT, If you like a tire that looks rugged the Wildpeak AT 4 is what you want. Thanks for watching.
@@828findadventure thanks for the recommendation man I appreciate it, will definitely consider that when it comes time to buy 👍🏻
Looking at one for myself at REI (July 2024) for $535. I haven't purchased a new bike in years (I'm 51) and have scoured marketplace and for used 5-10 yr bikes, are still asking $250-$500 and you never know what you are going to get. I'm not a serious mountain biker by any means [ I get my adrenalin rush from riding dirt bikes :-) ] but wanting a solid entry/mid level bike for the park/light trail to ride with my boys and I don't want to go the Walmart/Academy Sports avenue either. The salesman just today stated maybe around Labor day they might have some sales? I looked at one today and really really like it: and more importantly the fit and feel for me is perfect at 5' 10" (L) which is key in my book. IDK might take the plunge soon? Nothing like a brand new fresh bike and have REI tune it before it leaves the store along with a year of free maintenance is something you just can't get with a used bike. Nice video and hopefully you are still enjoying it!

will it fit a 2007 thread? i order one and it will be here tomorrow thinking it should work
I am not sure, I have never owned a 2007. If it doesn't fit smoothly, send it back.
I assume these are meant to be used when parked. Driving down the road on a hot day running your AC on with these installed just allows the cold air flow to leave your cab. Why not just leave your windows cracked slightly to allow heat to dissipate while parked and not in the vehicle? If these allow rain ingress, then they are pretty much useless. Are they able to be knocked out while installed there by allowing a thief easier access? Does not appear to be much of a lip that fits onto the window. Yes, if they want in, they will get in, but making it easier for them is asinine. Other than the look cool factor they seem pretty useless for what they cost. As for the guy getting condensation inside his car enough to where he needs these with computer fans installed, apparently has door or window weather seal issues.
They are for camping I assume, thanks for watching.

So you’ve had the air accelerator installed for a little bit now, any plus or minus’s like better gas mileage?
@@RS-gw2kt because of my lift and roof rack it’s hard to say about better gas mileage. It does bring more air in which essentially does help with that. I have kind of a heavy foot so I pay a price for that. LOL

So, are you saying that in most cases the center black plastic piece is going to be destroyed when I attempt to remove it?
