I was 14, sat glued to the TV in Del Rio Texas. I saw a tornado rip thru my neighborhood while I was only a few miles away. I remember my grandfather calmly looking at the tornado. He survived the depression and WWII. He wasn’t intimidated

I remember this hurricane I was 4years old living in Jamaica.

I was there on vacation at a resort. We knew a storm was coming, but had no idea it was a cat 5. The eye passing over us was amazing. The sun was out, it was quiet, and the storm was over (we all knew it was the eye). All during the storm they opened up the bar, partied, and we drank ourselves silly. I've got some great pictures.

Man!! This was the most scary thing i have ever experienced..13 years old..was supposed to go to school that Monday. Jamaica was such a devastated place after it subsided.

Yes it traumatized Jamaicans.

tbh ik im late but this is hilarious

Last city (really badly affected) was Monterrey, Mex. where it killed hundreds of people, most of them due to Santa Catarina river flash flood that caught several buses full of people.

It was a wide Hurricane very big.
