@@JG-vh1xc interesting, in British English, we distinguish an initial sketch or write-up as a draft and the wind meaning as a draught, but apparently American English tends to use draft for all of its meanings.

Umm... I think you're getting over-recommended at this point. Maybe watch Richard's show "The IT Crowd" first, since it's the same actor, & has a similar type of humor. Then after you've digested that perhaps move on to some other titles. It won't take too long since they often don't run shows very long in the U.K.; I think three short seasons of the IT Crowd, is all you'll get. -Cheers

Ohh mate, you're missing out! I recommend you try Taskmaster, it's hilarious, remarkably and - best thing - also on KZread. ;) Travel man is also great, basically this (including Richard Ayoade), but instead of gadgets he's presenting 48 hours in different countries.

@@patrickglaser1560 Uh... Whats with the attitude my friend? I'm not sure why youve taken such offense to my comment, but Im fairly sure your logic is completely upside down over this matter. Were actually talking about a fellow Gringo right? That means I would likely have better insights into what he might enjoy, as well as his viewing habits & history? He really knows nothing about British television, & maybe more importantly, he hasn't saught them out before now, or even purposefully for that matter, considering he mentions he stumbled into this show by pure chance. You see where I'm going with this? Americans have notoriously bad taste, short attention spans, & fickle relationships with the arts; since that is basically just a stereotype, but because stereotypes often carry a drop of truth to them; don't you think a fellow Gringo might be able to suss out the nuances of this particular situation a bit better than someone from outside this truly batshit-crazy nation? American that didn't just stumble into British television but that has been avidly following it & many other Anglo arts for more than twenty years? I think Ive presented an effective argument here, but the bottom line is that I was simply trying to help a fellow lover of media on his new journey. British television is a serious departure from the Hollywood Hills, but Gadget Man is easy to watch, goes by quickly w/a continual stream of shiny things to keep the simple Gringo happy, & w/lots of laughs to keep things moving along. The show has has a fair bit of influence from the Far West baked in, as does my recommendation; The IT Crowd. TITC's sitcom format, complete w/ laughtrack, will have him feeling right at home, as will its familiar faces after Chris O'Dowd has become a regular in American cinema. Your other recommendations don't fit that same formula, & for a complete noob to Brit scene, I felt like it was wise to suggest he pace himself. One thing you cant possibly understand the way I do, is how, & I hate to say this, but its how completely bored & quite puzzled the majority of Americans are wirh British TV & Film. You dont see Hollywood handing out many ridiculous awards to the amazing programming out of the U.K. do you? The short seasons, & show running lengths alone turn half of them off. They simply dont understand the concept of not spoiling a good thing, & supeprpsize everything, including media. These are allweird Americanisms that I consider when I suggested the OP take it one show at a time. I hope my lengthy explanation has better helped you understand the nuances I took into consideration when making my recommendation, & that the last thing I had in mind was your reaction, or even your comment tbh. You seem to have taken it very seriously but multiple ppl had commented at that point & it wasnt about you or your comment at all. Im sorry you took it personally & hope you can appreciate my apology. Cheers
