You couldn't get two more opposing opposite comedians if you tried. Richard with his abstract observations on culture, often enlightening but always amusing. And Tim Vine who does puns. Did they run out of comedians to invite? Did Tim have something on Richard and blackmailed his way onto the show? I don't think we'll ever know. I'm not saying Tim doesn't have a good act on stage, I'm just saying that I'd rather gouge out my own eyes with a spoon than suffer through his cringeworthy comedy. Again I'm not judging his comedy, I wish him all the best.......the dirty bastard.

Clay Mann I know you're think you're being clever, but you sound like a bigoted idiot. Please don't judge other people by what you do or don't like and assume it's correct

@@goldytwatus1674 Tim Vine is primarily a stand-up comic, and as such he has won Fringe awards, as well as Guinness World Book records for doing A LOT of his trademark puns in a prescribed amount of time. But, Richard was never a stand-up comic, so he and Tim would rarely (if ever) be in competition for the same awards. Meanwhile Richard Ayoade is a former president of the Cambridge Footlights - a title also held by such illustrious people as Peter Cook, Eric Idle, Hugh Laurie, Sue Perkins and David Mitchell - and is presently a BIFA-winning writer, a BAFTA-nominated director and a BAFTA-winning actor. Talk about comparing apples to pineapples.

@@kidsmokedI wish I could figure out why so many of my fellow Americans are oblivious to humor as dry as Ayaode's. I wonder if it's the same people who thought Colbert's persona on "The Colbert Report" was legit. It's not like we don't have dry comics in the US; Steven Wright, Charles Grodin, Michael Richards, Phil Hartman, Alan Arkin - just to name a few exceedingly dry comics... ... who all happen to have been in the same exceedingly dry, and woefully underappreciated film, "So, I Married an Axe Murderer."
