As AMAZING as the talented Jennifer Hudson IS, there was so much flexibility in Whitney’s voice that no one can come close to. She was able to be extremely powerful and smooth at the same time in her ballads, but kept her tempo flawlessly in up beat songs. She was DEFINITELY out of this world, with such angel and charisma. It’s still very sad the way her life took a spiral for the worse and ended, but above all that, her legacy surpasses all of that. May her soul rest in Peace.

Drugs didn't destroy Whitney, the industry did. Just like MJ and others before her, when the music bosses feel they are losing control of their biggest artist they realise they can make just as much money off them if they were dead. She didn't od and drown in the bath, her body showed signs of a struggle and was bruised. She passed Brandy a note on live TV not long before she died but no one knows what it says. This may all sound like conspiracy theories, but Hollywood and the music industry are very dark and have paid people to carry out killings and mess with autopsy reports. Even MJ himself said they were coming for him shortly before he died of what? Surprise, surprise a drug overdose.

This is one of the greatest things I have ever seen. Absolutely every singer who paid tribute to Whitney should have been on that stage...except the very first singer (and also LL Cool J). I don't know whether Clive Davis had bumped his head or just what his problem was, but right after Whitney died, Davis kept trying to sell to the public the impression that Jennifer Hudson was the heir apparent to Whitney's throne. Absolutely absurd! Having a loud voice doesn't make one Whitney-esque. Whitney also had a vocal finesse, sophistication, and range that are not present in Hudson's voice. But everyone else on stage, from breathtaking Halle to spirit-filled CeCe to everyone except Hudson and Davis: sublime!

A nice tribute (especially Yolanda Adams - her voice is amazing). But the fact is that as soon as one of these singers tries to cover one of Whitney's songs, we feel something wrong, the magic has disappeared. This magic brought by the exceptional musical training of this young woman, her technique, her range, and this legendary tone which is unlike any other. We realize the difference between them who pay a tribute and Whitney belonging to a tiny little category (Ella Fitzgerald - Dinah Washington - Mahalia Jackson - Aretha Franklin - Barbra Streisand)

Lol, you're so on point that it made me laugh. No offense to any of them, but it does hurt to hear anyone sing her songs. Ironically she has taken other artists songs and made them hers. With that said I have to say "I'm every woman", shouldn't have been sung first or maybe even at all. Simply because it was Chaka Khan's hit. My strong opinion She should've sang it instead of Hudson and it shouldn't have been the first song. God✨ only knows how much I (& the world) love Whitney and only the best is good enough for her! Rest in ✨🌹🕊️👑🌹✨Heavenly✨Peace ✨Whitney (((💔)))

@@ruthiemspangenberg3363 Yes, I agree, hearing her songs sung by others is painful... 😪 The best tribute to hear was Usher's... Possibly because he is a man, and he obviously made a very different (and pleasant) version of "I believe in you and me". I am glad they were sensible enough not to have anyone to sing "I will always love you". Even Dolly Parton would have spoilt it 🤭

14:56 The man who kept his pre-grammy party going, even after he was informed that Whitney had 'passed away' and her body was lying upstairs. How the heck did he even have the power to stop law enforcement and first responders from doing their job. Shows how interconnected this whole thing is. The fact that her daughter almost passed away the same way, the day before, and even though she's in this clip watching a tribute to her mom, ended up being taken out the same way, says a lot about this vile and satanic industry. To top it off, years before in "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" Will asked Carlton "what happened to your Whitney Houston cutout" and he responded "she fell apart inthe shower.

She was my vocal inspiration. The lord blessed me with a voice. And i looked to Whitney CONSTANTLY for vocal inspiration. There will never be another like her. She was touched by god and tragically taken from us to early. Thankfully, her music remains and i also believe her gift has been passed on to other singers. Singers like Glennis Grace who by god sounds so much like Whitney it blows my mind every time i hear her. Sure she will NEVER be Whitney Houston. But if the lord blessed someone else to carry on Whitney's treasure then so be it. Who are we to judge his way in handling things. Whitney i hope you are resting peacefully now. Your voice fully restored to it's full glory and your leading god's choir as you should be. Thank you for ALL the wonderful memories you gave me. And helping me perfect my own vocal gift.
