    Thank you for this video. The average person does not understand all the politics behind what congress actually does when it passes laws that have to do with our choices as a consumer. I think that you are a great advocate to help us all have the freedom to choose what we want to drive, fix, modify, etc. I want to personally thank you.

    Thank you for doing this Taylor. Unfortunately for us to make a difference we have to play the game and lobby just like other industries. I hope we can make a difference, for me I'm frame off restoring a '72 C10 Pro touring daily driver. I'm not doing all of this to be forced to drive an EV by sky rocketing gas price purposefully caused by government policy to force me to buy an EV.

    I was directly involved with the efforts in Washington state to allow dirt bikes to get plated for street use. In Washington state there are numerous dirt bike trails that intersect with public roads. What certain members of law enforcement would do is go to one of these intersections and wait for people on dirt bikes to cross the road while operating their dirt bike. Sometimes people would have their dirt bikes impounded. I set up a meeting with the (then) leader of Washington state's transportation committee through her legislative assistant. I brought my KTM 300XCW and 500 EXC to the meeting. I showed them the wiring harness where the 500 had turn signals and the 300 had the wiring but no turn signals. I showed her the DOT tires I was running on both bikes, I showed her the horn wiring and how mirrors could be attached. She wrote it all down and took pictures of the VIN's and registrations. The WA DOL was not against it as it would not cost them money and they would make money. The WSP was against it, they thought there would be dirt bike gangs running the streets. In the end the Washington state's transportation committee leader agreed it was a "good thing" for everyone as long as everyone played nice. The law passed and that's how we can get plated dirt bikes in Washington State. I by no means was the only person involved with this passing and being approved. The state lobbyist did the hard part drafting the legislation, the state off road association was involved as were the Washington Off-Road Vehicle association. It really does start by being involved.

    I asked Indiana Senator Mike Braun to co sponsor the bill to protect our rights to own and build race cars. He did it the next day. The EPA has changed the interpretation of the law. And seek to change its definition to say that any vehicle that has a vin number cannot be modified. He and I agreed that it would be devastating to kill a billion dollar industry that the aftermarket companies generate. Everyone reading this needs to get involved.

    "In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem. From time to time we've been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people." Inaugural Address 1981 - Ronald Reagan

  • @newtonfirefly3584

    @newtonfirefly3584

    2 ай бұрын

    @@vxe6vxe6 @angushoover8670; each of You present viable, important views within the accepted, established, instituted Authoritarian Government Laws, Regulations, specifically within USA. certainly all of the Government Regulations are within Socialist/ISM, Authoritarian/ist/ISM including all of these within motor vehicles, within all DoT, EPA, Clean Air Act 1963 along with "Right To Repair & Modify" Acts which seem to be beneficial. Also this quote from Ronald Reagan is very important, useful, helpful, beneficial from a proper view, perspective, perception, though he still was certainly within the chosen, selected individuals, politicians, by the Globalists/Elite via their contrived, devised, implemented, established, instituted political parities since 1840. For those of us that lived through those decades with some awareness, and some older especially within California, they know that Ronald Reagan was within the Democrat Party, also while an actor, head within The Actor's Guild, then into government politics. Thus, prior to 1980, RWR had shifted into the Republican Party, actually as a "Moderate", promoted many aspects within Government Regulation reduction, especially promoting the significant changes within the US IRS income tax which was a much more heavily graduated income tax with 12 brackets, maximum 50%, which then is applied to all inheritance, capital gains and similar, regardless of total income bracket. The Tax Reform Act 1986 modified this significantly to have just five brackets with minimum 18% to 38% maximum, while retaining the maximum upon inheritance, capital gains, and similar, along with a further reduction to three tax brackets with maximum 33% [18, 28, 33] for 1989. However during the years since the Congress have continued to modify, increase the number of income brackets and maximum between 4-6, still so far not exceeding 38%, basically, though some small additions up to 1.5%, with the current political control especially Democrats pushing for more increases, along with reducing or allowing many tax exemptions to expire, which the more conservative, Republican party has promoted, and passed previously. Now, let us gain some actual proper legal basis, Laws, US Constitution, which has been also become part of my proper development in recent years, though with all of the common political, party, government, regulation inDOCtrination and Propaganda falsehood [as became know to me] we all are misled, misdirected, misinformed, mal-informed, disinformed, thus directed, dictated, controlled basically as "Sheeple" [SAD😞ly], no matter the presumed, assumed, considered level of ideas, concepts, information, knowledge, education, involvement. A. US Constitution including Amendments: -> constitution.congress.gov/constitution/ 1. Article I defines Legislative Branch = Congress, with two houses; Representatives [for each District], Senate 2. Section 8 [primarily], 9 [additionally] define the explicit limits with Power, Authority, Jurisdiction with all Legislation, thus which are within their legal Power a. There is NO Power, Authority, Jurisdiction stated for Congress Legislation within any aspects transportation [thus includes all motor vehicles, on land, on water, sea, in air, space, under ground, except within establishing Post Office, post roads], business, environment, land, water, air, communication, labor, building(s), housing, food, beverages, clothing, shoes, substances, safety, education, energy, medical, health, certainly none which violate the Individual Rights & Freedoms in 1-10A, 14A, etc., which include all aspects within religion, peaceful assembly, press, printing, expression, protest, redress of government with grievances [1A], all arms [2A], personal property, affects search & seizure [must be according explicit, stated, limits, requirements (not as commonly requested, allowed by judge magistrates for many decades, seemingly prior to my birth too, perhaps during 20th Century, may be prior - need old records to prove - all during my lifetime (~65 yrs) are clear, available, certain direct violations)] b. The Congress required Income Tax Amendment, 17A, to begin legislation for such a tax - initially only upon "income" (dividends from investments, stocks, bonds, etc.), not wages, tips, salary, profits, etc., also just 3% flat [Kemp-Roth proposed bill was for 13% flat income tax - sufficient for all Government needs including the massive illegal unlawful, Unconstitutional Departments, Agencies with those illegal, unlawful, Unconstitutional Regulations C. The Congress required 18A, Alcohol [Beverage] Prohibition to allow any such Prohibition Legislation, thus their Alcohol [Beverage] Prohibition Act D. The 21A, complete repeal of 18A along with all Congress Authority, Power, Jurisdiction within any, all alcohol [beverage] prohibition in 1933 is a key, important detail, law along with the US Supreme Court decision in 1934, ruling for the Plaintiffs against the previously legally passed US Congress Legislation, Alcohol [Beverage] Prohibition Act as then illegal, unlawful, Unconstitutional, Null & Void, since the Power, Authority, Jurisdiction was removed by 21A. Simple. Period. E. Thus from that important US Supreme Court Ruling, Decision in 1934 for the Plaintiffs, against Congress Legislation as Unconstitutional, Null and Void the following are clear, obvious, certain: 1. Any all Congress Legislation which is outside of their Legal Power, Authority, Jurisdiction needs legal challenge by Plaintiffs, among us, the people, in US Supreme Court - Congress has not and will never remove their claimed Power, Authority, Legislation at least since 1840, clearly more so, especially since 1891 to 1933 onward. 2. other proofs of, with other Congress Legislation deemed, ruled, decided by US Supreme Court as illegal, unlawful Unconstitutional Legislation thus Null & void is the recent decision [6-3] regarding Affirmative Action within Title IX, etc. [finally] though still not fully accepted, implemented within all Government Agencies, Departments, Authorities; certainly all DEI and other preferential treatment, acts, grants, loans, etc. are included within this decision, ruling as Unconstitutional, contrary to all of the politicians, political parties, inDOCtrination, Propaganda, media, etc. 3. We as US citizens, People, must establish, implement, enact, proceed with full, proper legal challenge, redress of grievances [1A Rights], not with Congress Representatives [which are actually only representatives of the political party, established, instituted system, not the people of the district] rather as Plaintiffs with legal suit in the US Supreme Court as these others, to challenge each, every, all of the illegal, unlawful, Unconstitutional Legislation, especially regulations which include all within transportation, business, environment, safety, labor, building(s), clothing, shoes, land, water, air which directly affect all vehicles along with all others too. a. Thus certainly the following Legislation certainly need repeal, removal, deemed null and void: -1. entire Clean Air Act 1963 and additions, modifications -2. all legislation, regulations placed within EPA -3. all legislation, regulations placed within DoT including FAA -4. all legislation, regulations within any aspects of business including within Anti-Trust Laws from Sherman Act through FTC, SEC, etc. along within labor, building(s), housing. -5. all legislation, regulations within safety, medical, food, beverages, substances; OSHA, FDA, ATF, etc. -6. all other legislation, regulations with all other areas as stated above which include FCC, DoE, NRC, DoEd, F. Though the "right to repair and modification" seem important, useful, helpful, beneficial to the public, they are actually Authrotarian, Socialist, along with outside Power, Authority, Jurisdiction of US Congress per USC S8, 9. Simple, Period 1. perhaps, since there is actually not any "right to repair" law passed, rather an agreement among many manufactures in lieu of the legislation, then the pursuit within that agreement is more appropriate along with promoting that all manufactures should join the agreement, thus promote the public to purchase only from manufactures which join the agreement. 2. not none of the electric vehicle companies as Tesla, Rimac, Lucid, etc. have joined the "right to repair" agreement !! 😲 Have You figured out why they do not ? -> seems clear since they are Government protected, at least by the many Government regulations, laws. G. the tax depreciation legislation, set to expire end 2025, is certainly important; however the real issue is that need for this legislation to allow 7 years which is still very long and no such extended 20-30 year depreciation requirement should exist period ! 😲 All The Best, Sincerely

    socialism has absolutely nothing to do with this topic or the laws, regulations, and issues that are being discussed in this video. unless you’re trying to own or control the means of production as a workforce, it’s not socialism. fun fact, unions are socialism. it’s a term that gets thrown around as a dirty word by those who want to easily distract you and have you focus on the wrong fights with a political sleight of hand and you keep proving that tactic is working.

    If its fun, the government will find a way to stick it's nose in and make it not fun or just make it illegal. Misery loves company...

    Excellent thanks for expressing your grievances to Congress's and all the insider stock traders that work there. I hear they have some good coke on capital hill, did they offer you a bump?

    Jeff Merkley is one of my senators here in Oregon. He doesn't care about our voices. His only concern is that you buy an EV or ride a bicycle so the earth doesn't get to hot to touch. 🙄🙄🙄

    We need all "MotorHeads" to get behind this. Brent from PFI, and JHDiesel come to mind with their excessive battle with the over reaching EPA Thanks Alex
