Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This week on School of Wok On Tour, we visit the UK's only wasabi farm to find out why it's so hard to grow, and what makes it so expensive. Jeremy also makes a delicious sashimi rice bowl focused all around the incredible fresh wasabi!
Ingredients
450 g uncooked Japanese short-grain white rice
540 ml water (540 ml)
1½ tsp salt
½ Tbsp toasted white sesame seeds
4 Tbsp shredded nori seaweed
1 tbsp Shichimi

Sushi grade salmon

So cool to see a British farmer growing this stuff! I've never liked wasabi, but always wanted to! Really excited to see this side of British agriculture. I wonder what other treasures are out there. Thanks for another great video guys.

Fabulous! Now we just need another enterprising farmer to repurpose some old orangerys so that we can grow fresh Yuzu here too.

You forgot Jeremy Klarkson. He is producing Wasabi, too.

Thanks Jeremy. I never knew how wasabi was grown or even what kind of plant it was until now. Very informative.

Real wasabi is very tasteful, can't stand the tube pastes that are usually made from horseradish or other similar root plants...
