We Went Inside a Palestinian Village (busting leftist myths)

This week’s show is different! We went into Palestinian villages, met the people, and captured normal Palestinian life on camera.
Undercover, Joshua and Luke visit Rawabi, a Palestinian western city built for 40,000 people right in the middle of Samaria. How many people actually live there? You’ll be blown away by the answer.
After visiting another abandoned village, the team heads into Turmus Ayya, a place considered the “America of the West Bank”. 12,000 people claim this village as home, but less than 4,000 live here. Filled with villas and mansions, this place looks like it came straight out of Hollywood. Joshua even got to interview the mayor on camera!
This week’s show is truly on the front lines of Israel’s heartland. Get ready for some mythbusting adventure!

Thank you for digging for the Truth which so many have been determined to bury regarding Israel. The Jewish peoples are Not illegal occupiers in Israel. Israel belongs to the Jewish people. They were placed there by God. ‘Jerusalem Is The City Of The God Of Israel’. Any who would dispute this Truth, must take it up with the God of Israel Who, when Jacob had wrestled with God, God changed his name to Israel. Then fulfilled His promise to Abraham through Israel and brought them to the land and established them in the Land where they now live. Israel, the state belongs to the Jewish peoples. God is their Keeper and Protector.

Oscur Summers here are some facts: its not internationally recognized occupied territory exception of Muslim dominate countries and communist ones. Under the League of Nations 1924 Israel was given West of the Jordan River to the Sea (see the map) it included Judea and Sumerian (West Bank), Gaza and Golden Heights. In 47 Israel was illegally invaded and land seized by Jordan (West Bank) and Egypt (Gaza), Syria (Golden Heights), one day after the British Mandate Expired. Green lines drawn were armistice lines only. Israel was the sovereign state, there was no Palestine. In 67, again Israel attacked and she got back her rightfull land plus the Suez (which she gave back to Egypt.

@@joshkugler312 LOL... they show houses that most Palestinians cannot buy..a rich modern new city with expensive appartements that may not get buyers.. And privately housing own by expatriate Palestinians who obviously MUST have empty houses because they work and live abroad!!!.. Here un the South of France, in Saint Tropez on the Côté d'Azur, meditareen sea GUESS WHAT : there are plenty of spacious houses empty most of the year.. DOES it means that there not a problem of housing in some big cities in the rest of the country!??!! How this is a contradiction with a crisis in housing for the average Palestinians in densly lived areas !?... If there is lottery to offer the new appartements to the average Palestinians the whole place would be filled up in the blink of an eye.. The promoter invested NOT ONLY HIS OWN MONEY but probably with Bank loans and he is supposed to have some returns (they can't be sold for cheap-bargain even if he might be a palestinan patriot at heart)... May be the security check points by Tsahal the israelian army makes the city NOT practical with potentials urban buyers HAVING TO COMMUTE between place of working and place of linving!!! How this is not even considered is puzzling to say the least... What is for sure is that promoters must have made propre studies concerning the Target buyers and the average price those buyers would have a budget for!! Thank you for the courageous work you do Israel Guys. Years ago I spent Shabbat in the settlement of Susya, in southwestern Judea. The narrative of the Left, the Arabs, Europe, perhaps the world was that Israel was buidling on top of Arab villages and displacing Arabs. Susya at that time was a small settlement of about 100 religious families. I walked out to the edge of the settlement on a hilltop. It was vast empty desert hills in every direction and the only sign of Arab settlement that I was able to see was a small distant town on a hilltop about 2 miles away. Everywhere else was empty.

The mansions built in turmusayya are built by people who don’t live in Palestine. Those are like vacation homes for people who work and have businesses in the United States and elsewhere. The local economy wouldn’t allow them to build homes like this. So they don’t live there and this isn’t an accurate depiction of people actually living in the area.

Arafat wanted peace amongst Jews and Arabs, both Palestinian and Israeli. Do some research before throwing out terrorist accusations, you sound ignorant and stupid. The only thing preventing peace in Israel is the Israeli Zionists who want a Jewish state only. Israel was established in 1948, prior to that Christian, Muslim, and Jewish Palestinians lived in peace. After the Holocaust, that peace was dismantled by illegal occupation and military occupation. Arafat tried to come up with a resolution that the Israeli government couldn’t agree with because Jews have historically been the minority there. Israel is greedy, look up why Christians are leaving the Holy Land, they don’t want them there either!!!

By 2014, 650 family apartments housing an estimated 3,000 people had been completed and sold, but could not be occupied while negotiations over supplying the city with water stalled. The city remained without water; the delay was attributed to the Israeli-Palestinian Joint Water Committee, with Israelis blaming Palestinians for the delay and Palestinians blaming Israelis. On March 1, 2015, its developer, Bashar al-Masri, announced that Israel would finally connect the city up to the Israeli-controlled water grid.

First point: I've never heard the rumor that palestinians have a housing crisis. The only problem I've heard with housing is that the Israeli government is consistently carrying out home demolitions. You can't just cherry pick certain towns and villages and say there is no problem because there's empty houses. Why should the native Palestinian people move out fo their current places and be forced into these cities when they've have their own homes for generations? Second point: Way to cherry pick two of the more modern and richer villages in all of Palestine. You guys go to one that is full of american arabs summer homes and one that was just built. Try going to hebron or another village where there's higher tension, more settler attacks, home demolitions, idf checkpoints, and other things. You guys were fortunate to have an Israeli license plate so you obviously were privileged enough to go on the Israeli only roads and stayed in the nicer parts of palestine/israel. Also when you did go the small villages, instead of showing the village and how empty the houses were, you guys just showed yourselves talking about how empty it was so how about turning the camera around next time and showing the village up close rather than from just atop the hill where everything looks empty from far away. Third point: you guys are completely twisting what the mayor said. He said the hardest part was trying to get people to cooperate and follow the building laws of the land. Never said anything about locals committing acts of terror and breaking the law in that respect. You can't just say "the biggest problem in arab communities is lawlessness and breaking the law" because that's completely twisting the truth. You guys didn't bust any myths and are clearly biased for Israel as you both are american. I'd like to hear your thoughts on people like norman finkelstein, noam chomsky, ronnie barkan, ilan pappe, miko peled, max blumenthal, avi shlaim, shlomo sand, eran efrati, peter beinart, anna baltzer, and countless other jews like myself who speak out against Israeli crimes done to the indigenous palestinian people

@@lukehilton2951 since my initial response to this was deleted or something, I'll say it again. First off: my mistake for thinking you guys were also Jewish. I shouldn't have been so quick to judge. Second: I never said u only drove on israeli only roads but meant that u were privileged to have an Israeli license plate allowing you to pass by checkpoints and go to areas palestinians are not able to go. Third: home demolitions do in fact occur and saying that they are rare is an utter lie. Israel destroyed 273 homes in 2020 alone not including the 456 non residential structures which may include schools and hospitals. Plus these so called "terrorists" according to israel can be little 12 year old boys who throw stones at a tank in their village. To have ones home raided and be arrested in the middle of the night for throwing stones is beyond unreasonable especially since palestinians are mostly tried in israeli military courts where the incarceration rate is ridiculously high. No matter the fact, I don't think throwing stones and protesting against a colonizing power justifies ones home getting demolished. Lastly: you guys did in fact twist the truth at the end. By saying "according to the mayor himself, the main problem in palestinian villages is lawlessness and having palestinians follow the law" makes it seem like they're a bunch of animals looking to plunder and pillage like pirates and vikings of old. The mayor was clearly talking about building permits and regulations when referring to "following the law" unlike how you guys made it sound. I did watch the whole video and it is clear the interpretation at the end of the video was completely biased and twisted the truth. I'd like to see you guys go to hebron or jenin or gaza and show us what life is like there. Also I'd like to hear your thoughts on people such as norman finkelstein, ilan pappe, noam chomsky, avi shlaim, eran efrati, miko peled, ronnie barkan, shlomo sand, peter beinart, max blumenthal, anna baltzer, and countless other jews who are critical of the state of israel?

This video is just to feed the one side and not bring peace i feel. Basically they saying, see, so many empty houses, so those houses that will be stolen by newer settlers, they can take it. Lol. If they don't take it, someone else will, right? Lol. This will just feed the cancer and not bring solution. Oh if there's so much space, hmm, perhaps open the doors, same ways to palestinians refugees, who wish to come back.

Arab Muslim Palestinians aren't indigenous. The Jewish academics you named love to leave out context. And some you named are outright pyschopaths All of them love to infantilise the Palestinians for their choices over a hundred years. They ignore what Palestinians actually say. This is a religious conflict not about land. The Arab honour shame culture dynamic drives it.

The point you make isn't a good one. It's obvious that there are thousands of Arabs who go abroad to study or work. They build houses in their home villages with the intention of retiring there - that's common of all immigrant communities. This is why Irish/Italian/German people moved to USA, though many of them retired in their homeland or/and gave money to family at home. The Mayor was a decent man, he was subtly refereing to building regulations built by Arabs, and also Israelis. Houses on the outskirts of towns tend to be newly built - that's why they're on the outskirts of towns. Are there people without houses, well, look you could drive around Israel (or USA) and point to new houses, and beautiful homes and then say 'there's no poverty or no shortage of housing' but you know that wouldn't be true. Ruabi is an exciting project, but why not find out why houses aren't selling, genuinely, speak to people or do research not just point to empty houses - maybe there's no reliable water or electricity connection, maybe there's problems which zoning ... I've literally done a google search and this is from 2015 www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-31154138 - no water. So, yes, it's right to pick up on hypocricy but pointing to empty buildings says nothing, really. Ireland and USA was full of empty houses after the 2008 crash, so economy could be a problem. This item felt too much like a throw away comment then trying to fit that narrative. You could be right, but this report didn't really prove anything.

We also did our research on Rawabi. Like the article you posted in your comment said, yes, in 2015, they had a problem connecting the water, and that's one reason why the project was delayed. We're in 2021 now though, and this town is nearly finished. The first security guard we spoke to told us the mall would open at 10:00 AM. You can look online - apartments are ready to be bought and moved into.

Yes, the Israelis took all the West Bank land with water, then built these places where there is none, so independent agents like the JC crew here can propagandize upon this.
