Problem is, there is a high chance he is briefed on this stuff by a team of people. Anytime any Hollywood star is part of anything there is no way to know when they're being genuine.

@@Welchy-TV Because these are set-up press events. Brad Pitt is probably stupidly busy, meets with hundreds of people weekly, and has been studying F1 for the movie, with a lot of help from a team. That's how big budget movies work. Is it impossible for him to be an actual fan that already knew that information before starting to work on this film? No. I just don't think it's likely.

I was an extra on War Machine, got to meet Brad and spend ten minutes reading through lines with him, I can't stress how genuine and down to earth he is, and how jealous other extras were, when almost every morning, he walked past and said hi buddy.

@@CricketEngland The 3 films are actually less comparable with one another than you might think: Senna was a documentary film, everything was actual footage and there was no acting at all Rush was a film based on a true story, scenes were recreated rather than actual footage, and there were some fictional elements that deviated from the true story Apex is a film with a totally original story not based on real life story

I applaud them for letting Brad do the driving. They could’ve easily used anyone from the grid as a stunt driver, but it’s cool the way they’re filming it.

I’d have loved if they had got Michael fassbender cast as like a Devon butler esc character for the story as a villain as he races in endurance racing and raced at Le Man this year so he’s an actor/racer who would have been perfect for the movie

@@seanchandley1604 Or Patrick Dempsey, he's been racing as a privateer for a while in sportscar discipline. Hell, most actual drivers across the board are just beautiful people and years of being in the circus has media trained them well as entertainers - they could just as well do supporting roles. Either way, doesn't matter if Brad drives or not - he might as well be The Stig or vice versa :D It's just cool to see the actors putting in some hard work! I am younger than most of the F1 grid atm and can't even go fast in go kart, it takes exceptional physical training to just not spin out on a turn in a singleseater let alone all the racecraft.

For me, Martin IS F1, his knowledge is unmatched. The Guy has lived the sport most of his life. Simply a Legend. He a modern day Murry Walker (A man I loved and respected)

Love how respectful and full of energy Pitt is here. Feels like he’s actually enjoying it and is dedicated to it, instead of just a paycheque for him.
Not sure who was more excited to meet who! What a lovely interaction between a person who has lived F1 all his life another just delving into this amazing sport.
Brad must have done his research and found out who Martin was. Excited nervousness from Brad this time! Great interview. 👍🏻

That's the embodiment of some damn good cosmetic surgery and hairline transplant too. Although, to be fair, he's done it very subtley in small increments over the years, not going overboard. Not knocking the guy, I like Brad, and if I had his money, I'd have done the same!

Martin Brundle is up there with Murray Walker as an absolute legend of the sport for me. I'm 31 now and I've grown up watching him most of my life

That’s a great interview and nice to see Brad respectively go about his business on and off the track. Feels like he’s genuinely taking in this experience as a once in a lifetime one and given his career it’s nice to see!
He's talking with passion. Makes him look 10 years younger. Good for him.

Nice to see an actor not full of himself, but filled with awe for the drivers, the sport, and legends such as Brundle. Brad came across as a decent bloke, who was still hyped from his drive, and head over heels in love with F1. Martin as always humble and professional, the King of Sports Broadcasting.
Thats some real authenticity right there u could feel the genuinity of both pf them gearing up for the big release im hyped for sure

Been watching F1 since the early 90s and Martin is a great bloke both on and off the track and a true professional who never loses his child like enthusiasm for the sport. It goes without saying that his pit walkabouts are legendary and the respect he receives from those who matter speaks volumes about the professionalism, witticism and integrity of a great driver and commentator.
Brad didn’t have to give kudos to brundle. But the fact he did shows the respect he has.
Brad is a cool guy. He seems 20 years younger. So excited. Like xmas for a 5 yrs old.
What a humble interaction. Really warms the heart.
Nice to see Brad showing Martin some more respect this time.

Pitt waved the flag at Le Mans one year and given his history with bikes, seems like he has a bit of petrol running through his veins like the rest of us. Given how incredible some of the flying sequences were in Top Gun Maverick, I'm super keen to see the footage from the F1 cars using the same technology and cinematography

Brad Pitt acknowledging Martin Brundle's Grand Prix and race history made me smile - I'm glad some celebs DO respect and know of Martin's history after learning of it. Brad, when the film wraps up and you have no more obligations to be at the track, you're welcome on the grid anytime in our eyes - any past hiccups can be forgiven.
