Methinks you have watched Kung Pow a little tooooo often - sweet susie. Such a funny film. I watched it with my son and we were both in floods of tears. Thanks for the reminder - must watch again.. Oh yeah, enjoyed your video too. Evan remembers the high heat material after all the moulds are done. Kinda like the old topic ad (if you ever had topic bars over yonder) "Oh yeah, it's funny how you always remember right at the end". Topic, a hazlenut in every bite. Oh god. It's 3:30 am. I'm ranting. I'm tired. Good night ... sweet susie. I'm gonna be dreaming of kung pow now. Cheers (Heads off upstairs giggling)

There were many times where I recognized the add-in musics. Tell me... have you used the music from the arcana romance stories? Sorry if it isn’t true...I’m a dedicated the arcana interactive romance story --- I can remembered like every song from it. Sorry if I’m just making wrong assumptions from mere repeating coincidences. But it’s good for you if you like the idea of tarots! *I’m not sponsored btw good taste in music bye*❤️❤️❤️

You could try adding the dry concrete as an additive to the resin, so it doesn't have to cure also. That way, it is like a resin pour that can mix better because the water won't be repelling the resin.

That mold maker is awesome! I could really use it right now lol... I'm kinda surprised that only one gem broke with mixing the resin and concrete(I don't know the cure time for the concrete). Because, the concrete was mixed with water and resin and water don't usually play well with each other. That may be the reason why K's half resin and half concrete broke. Since the resin was cured before the concrete didn't have much of anything to adhere with. I think if you were to take a low grit of sandpaper to the first layer, the concrete would have an easier time bonding together. Great video as always!!!-

EvanAndKatelyn you should try it with wood, aluminum honeycomb, shredded money, steel and copper shavings, and so much more. The one thing that was really surprising to me was that it didn't look like you had any bubbles!!! How fast does the concrete set? That may be the reason why the two interacted good together.

Cold casting is as far as I know, coating the inside of the mold with metal powder and then pour the resin in. Black resin is a good base and you can additionally mix in some metal powder. But you need fine metal powders to prevent sinking.

Idk if you guys read comments on old vids or not but this is like the fourth time I’ve re-watched this and I just had a really cool idea if you ever want to revisit something like this what if you coated the mold in concrete and then tipped the extra out so it was just a thin layer of concrete (might have to mix the concrete a bit thin idk how that would work but I am spitballing here lol) and then filled it in with geode colours of resin like how a geode has the normal looking rock on the outside and the pretty colours on the inside? I know you two love your geodes so it would be cool to see!

Wet Look is a concrete sealer that penetrates the pores of concrete and gives concrete a polished wet-look. it comes in clear and other colors too. I don't know what it would do to resin or if it would even apply to this project, but I love the way it brings out the flaws and details and the over-all look of concrete.

For preventing the molds from melting, you could sit them in a cup of water so that the water absorbs the excess heat. I don't know if that would mess with the resin curing process, though. Then call Linus Tech Tips and tell him you've water cooled your concrete potato resin.
