@@rhobbs9417 Look, artists spent a lot of time on their art. Have you seen the amount of tools Evan and Katelyn have? How much they cost? There is a reason why Debbie must have put the price that high. Don't think artists aren't people too. You should know by now watching these videos. Also, no one is forcing you to buy her work, but don't dismiss someone's hard work like that. Creativity doesn't come easy. Lastly, I'm not an artist at all and I can't even draw, but recently I came to the realisation that artist are people who need to feed themselves, if I can't afford to buy then I shouldn't and just mind my own business instead of blaming their need to feed themselves and how expensive their tools are.

@@MissCaraMint yes! Very true. I find it hard to explain to people who haven’t worked with glass, but there is a completely different feel to it, isn’t there?! (It’s not just the weight of it either, although that is definitely part of it). I still work with both, but the supplies for stained glass have gotten a little more difficult to get in my area, so I’ve had to stick mostly with resin the past year or so as that’s much easier to find right now - hopefully the supply issues will improve in time. 🙂

@@Caninecancersucksrocks It's something about the smoothness and how it can be so cold to the touch. I haven't worked much with glass, but I am very interested by gemstones, and many of my favorite ones have a similar feel to them as glass. Like hardened silk I often think. I wish I could work with stained glass, the most I've ever done is glass beads.

Thanks for the tip about the poly base. I pour cribbage board blanks and I've been using taped over hardboard for the form. I then pour the blank about 1/2" thick, drill the holes using a Rockler cribbage jig. I then make a wooden base for the deck of cards and pegs. I attach the epoxy board to the base using a sliding dado arrangement.

I’d like to see DIY stuff found from target rather than Etsy shops personally!!! it still looks so gorgeous tho and good job !!!
