FEATR seriously need to do a Province series on just Cagayan Valley and other Region 2 provinces! It’s an amazing mix of Ilocano, Tagalog, Mountain Province and Ibanag culture and it shows on the food that we have!!

My best Pancit on earth is Pancit Batil Patung There is one in sampaloc (cagayan’s best)

I love what the team is doing in showing these kinds of places that specialized in certain dishes and I agree in a lot of other countries there will be places that you or at least someone you know would recommend that you go for certain dishes for that unique taste. I love how the team is show casing the food of the Philippines, the culture behind it and how often it is prepared. Made me think how haven't really tasted everything in our country. Here is to more content that both entertain and educate as well as making me hungry!

To me, Batil patung is the king of pancit. The red onion condiment cuts through the richness of the dish.

Instead of Bruno's, Kiko's Panciteria serves better quality batil patong. As someone who grew up in Cagayan, I can say that Kiko's Panciteria has the most authentic taste here in NCR. I feel like they deserve more recognition. It's located in Cubao QC

You're so right about the specialty shops. It's what a lot o people attract to Southeast Asia and The Philippines could thrive even more if they did that. Some tourist who travelled from other SEA nations to the Philippines say that the reason they don't like Manila is cause that section in street food and hole in the wall is lacking, as well as night markets selling those specific dishes that you can go to whenever. MAG NEGOSYO NA MNGA TAOOOO!!!

If not too late, try the overload Pancit Cabagan on Blumentrit St. near España. The miki used has a distinctive taste and bite. This original concoction is from Cabagan, Isabela thus the name. Sarap!!! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Yezzzz sirrrr!!! Batil Patung is the most underrated pancit in the Philippines! I’m from Cagayan Valley Tuguegarao and I have never tasted anything close to Batil Patung and often brag about how weak other pancit are! Pancit Cabagan comes 2nd for me and Palabok is a close 3rd.

Love that 3rd spot....its like a batangas pancit eatery vibes....broth with pancit is a legit combo among panciterias or lomians in batangas...

Galeng mag search. Marami pa kau sana madiscover. Nasa mga non-commercialized yung masasarap na dishes talaga kase dishes are cooked with heart & pamana pa ng family elders.

Quite rare to see Batil Paton in vlogs :) my fave pancit from our region. The broth, we usually drench em in the noodles but what I usually do is pour a little lil by lil then save some for later because it absorb very quick.

Try that chinese lumpia if you still have some left with a touch of sriracha. the maki mi is really is a noodle soup, eaten in a bowl, usually paired with qua pao, probably why its a little too salty. :D Great episode guys.

Folks from the north are sick of Batil Patong already, it's an everyday treat and threat to one's health but can't be avoided. Thank you Metro Manila for embracing this newly developed food from Cagayan. Another favorite of mine is Bacolod Batchoy and Pancit Cabagan. Add to that the best sabaw dish I've ever tasted, yung Humba in Aling Violy.

best pancit i ever tasted is in Ongping thats my dads favorite resto since my childhood i never miss eating this delicious pancit from DELICIOUS RESTAURANT . its the best .

Pero epic yung Pansit Cabagan, kasi pagkaubos na pagkaubos ko, umorder pa ako ng isa. 😂😅 Yung mga to sa karenderia, biglang nagtinginan sa akin. Sabi ng pinsan ko, ako pa lang daw nag take two sa laki ng serving nila. 😂😅

That Batil Patung looks so good. I've had it so many times in Isabela and I end up overwhelmed with the cloying fatty taste. Often there's something missing, like the Carabeef, or sometimes the onions, and sometimes the egg drop soup. It's so frustrating, that I actually prefer Pancit Cabagan. But what you had there seems so good.
