But I realized that I should stick to my violin after watching TwoSetViolin trying first time with cello. They are not same string instruments. It requires totally a different skill set. 😭

So, I initially turned my interest to cello, and then violoncello da spalla, which is played like violin but with cello sound. However, violoncello da spalla is not available in my country. And then, I started thinking about making my viloin sound one octave lower using octave string. And then eventually, my mind settled with an electric violin with octave pedal. Haha! What a journey! :)

That awkward moment when you take a uni group strings class in your 20s only to be told that your larger breasts can complicate holding the cello/increase shoulder soreness (because you have to get the bow farther away from your body)/etc. I had/have bad shoulders to begin with! (I've dropped a few sizes since then, BUT STILL.) I understand the soreness and tiredness, just with an extra dash of awkward thrown in.

If you play the double bass it's worse. It's 2 or even 3 times bigger than the cello and if you're not tall enough you have to stand. And the strings are thick as hell and it's hard to hold the bow as it is very heavy.

There are fourteen movements in this composition, each one representing a different animal or animals (including the famous "Swan"). 🤗
