Lots of helpful tips. I hope that you will make a "Part 2" video, and show step-by-step how to completely finish. Please show how to trim, layer, quilt on a domestic machine and bind. su
I fold the Minky put it on my cutting board and use Press and Seal wrap. Cover all the Minky by "sealing" it for about 3 inches all around it and press down on the cutting mat. When I cut the Minky it REALLY sticks to the Press and Seal wrap and keeps the fuzzies down.

Great tip!!!
I live in Texas and make minky quilts for family here and in California. They do not need batting in their quilts so I do the quilt as you go method of strips to backing only, then square up and bind. The video is great; you took the fear out of the cutting! Thanks, Brody!

Wow! First Minky tutorial I have seen..thanks! The boxed Minky blankets are much bigger than I thought. It makes a nice size! Great information and tutorial. I have some Minky cuts already but was kind of intimidated to make that mess everyone talks about but will give it a go now. See ya Brody 😉
