I'm considering a pair of Cornwall IVs, can you describe the experience or the sound quality? Does the Luxman bring the same clarity to the Cornwalls with the live effect?

Lenny just a heads up for you dude. I don't have any Whiskey for you BUT, I have the following for consignment sales. One Pioneer SX-1050 works and is in good shape. Two Pioneer SX-650's. Both work and are in good shape. That brings me to 4 items in at once. A new high for this Werewolf. I LOVE the Luxmans. I wonder how a BIG Beefy Luxman sounds connected to a set of Pioneer HPM-100's. My breed of werewolf likes Champagne with strawberry ice cream and angel food cake. I listen to music while sitting on the veranda watching the Black Eyed Susan's bloom! Yeah Right! I lust after that entire vintage Luxman rig on the end cap near the sales desk. That Luxman setup truly smoked my boots!

Love Luxman's but I wonder why the prices in USA is so much higher than elsewhere... by around 50% or so ???? Sigh...

@@ThatGuyWithTheBeard I think it is more the cost being charged by the US Distributor. I've seen the PD151's being sold in Japan, online for $2500 USD. !!! US Tariffs is quite negligible.

I have vintage Luxman and new McIntosh. I'd love a new Luxman 509-x but I can buy used new McIntosh for a lot less.

Get some Evan Williams Bonded in that whiskey collection. Great whiskey for not a lot of money.
