Looks like a great trip! The Anaconda is probably thinking ‘what is up with all the ruckus, and everyone holding me, can’t a snake get some peace and quiet here?’ 😂😂 Cool anaconda 😊

I ❤ tarantulas! Had my buddy, Hairy, for awhile. He was wild caught in my co-worker's garage. He grew (molted 3 times) while with us. I set him free in the same hills next door after enjoying his company. ❤

Great video. Smallest anaconda I’ve ever seen, but everything starts from somewhere, huh? I loved the part with the kids and candy. The stuff we take for granted in the developed, built-up world (candy, gum, sodas and juice) are probably magical treats to these little kids living there. You made their day, doing that. I loved the little red/yellow “Iron Man” frog at 14:16. Things I’d never see otherwise. I never knew frogs came in Tony Stark colors! 😊 It’s so neat down there. Ages ago I went to Mexico on a choir trip. We stopped a few places on the way to get out and explore, but nothing like this. Climbing some old, battered rocky pyramid was the closest I’ve been on an “exotic jungle adventure”. One of the locals found/killed a large snake on the far side of the base and was walking around with it on a stick. The image wasn’t lost on me as I climbed that pyramid, closely watching every place I put my hands and feet as I walked/climbed up. Steepest “stairs” ever. About a 11-12” rise with a 7-8” tread. More a rock ladder than stairs. And if you slipped, you weren’t going anywhere but on a long, steep, bumpy and painful ride to the grass area below, all cut and bruised. The stuff I’d do, without hesitation, at 11-12 vs. 54-55… 😂 The thought of NOT climbing that thing and standing on top to overlook miles of scenery was unthinkable. At that age, I believe I was half-monkey and would climb ANYTHING. No tree, structure, vehicle or rock formation was safe! 😊

Yes, you should. I spent 2 mo. in Peru in 1983, my first scary trip outside of the country and way out of my comfort zone. Loved every minute and it set the tone for many subsequent adventures around the world. Loved the videos, love Peru and Peruvians, love snakes! Snowing hard here where i am, but Spring is just around the corner. Thanks for bringing us along.
