WE TRANSFORMED AN OLD G WAGON INTO A G63 AMG - Facelift Conversion 🤯

Come behind the scenes and watch Team Bodycentre transform this @MercedesBenz G350 into a unique G63 AMG with facelift bodykit and custom paint job.
This car came to us from a regular customer of ours, who also owns a @Lamborghini Huracan in a Gloss Grigio Lynx. When he first contacted us and told us that he had bought a G350, we were slightly confused knowing what he is like with his cars, However, after explaining to us what he planed to do with this vehicle we were more than understanding and couldn't wait to help him bring his idea to life. Now for a G63 AMG you are looking around the £150k mark, and lets face it, thats a lot of money, but for a decent G350 you're looking around £50k. So with this in mind the customer decided to purchase a G350 and install a facelift bodykit, converting it to a 2020 onwards G63 AMG. The customer also decided he wanted to change the colour of the car, and in the midst of deciding on whether to either vinyl wrap, TBC Skin, or Paint the car, he came to the conclusion that he wanted to match his Lamborghini with the Grigio Lynx paint job but with a Satin finish. Now this could have been completed using our new versatile product TBC Skins but with no intention of returning the vehicle back to its original colour, the customer decided to complete a full respray. Another reason for this choice was that any small dents or corrosion could be repaired before the paint job to ensure the bodywork was perfect before any paint was applied.
Not only did we install a new bodykit, lights, wheel cover, and complete a full respray, we also restored and repainted the callipers to really bring them back to life and enhance the essential pop of red colour needed to really make this car stand out. The G is so practical that you can always update it every time a fresh new look comes out
Do the facelift yeh, but never rebadge unless you engine swap for the right one too it’s tacky. Customers choice I know, amazing job guys

@@shobur that’s exactly what my local mechanic said. He was happy to work on a 2002. There was an early 2000s Bentley gt coupe there as well and I told him that’s my other dream car and he said I’m wayyyy better off with the 2002 g500. I think he was doing an 8k fix on the Bentley.

Has anyone come with a solution yet to get rid of that second swage line? That's the only thing that puts me off getting this for my G , overall great job and you have gained a sub from me

What about interiors
It does look like a Selenite Gray Magno color from Mercedes but it looks nice! At first i almost thought it was going to be Arabian Gray which also i think is a nice color. Great job guys! It looks fantastic!

Also I believe this was older than a 2015 to begin with, looking at that back rear spare wheel badge has the spelling of ‘Mercedes Benz” on the 2002-2005

around £20k with all parts, paint, labour etc
I want to buy a top spec AMG, and convert it back to the original basic g wagon spec. Om606 for a bit of power and get rid of all the tacky bodykit and interior etc.
U should change the glass and windscreen

The 2018 g63 grill/bumper style with the older 22” amg wheels (5 pointed star) is the best imo. I’m open to change that opinion but in person on the road it’s a beast.

It varies dramatically on which kit, the condition of the kit upon arrive (needs some customisation etc), the paint colour used etc
