When replacing wheels on any European vehicle, use the long stud alignment bolts, one or two (ebay/amazon) to allow you to mount the tire, put a couple of lugs in, then unscrew the alignment bolts and finish with your lugs. Work Smarter!

I've always loved the G Wagon, as well as a lot of other boxy cars, but it's so sad to see them just driving down the street all prettied up. Was a good change of pace to see yours gliding through that field with ease!

to save you time with the wheel nuts i had them on my ford so i tried to drill like you but its timely .. so i welded the outer spining part the center then use a socket and put it over the nut hit it on and simply take the nut off .... saves so much time

The First drag in F&F that, line started the whole shebang.. ;0) but a smart move from Hoovie to fit those stuff, lift-kit and proper off-roar tires on that G because it's a purpose build off-road machine not a pimping and blinking low-rider for boulevards ! yass.. i just say it !

only in V8 though, even then that B8444S is a little finicky. It's basically just a P2 Volvo, exact same architecture. transversely mounted V8... weak bevel gear/PTO unit, decent diff and driveshafts but not made for real torque. Also McPherson front suspension. Don't get me wrong I own another P2 (2002 V70), they are good and reliable vehicles if maintained, but made to a price point. Volvo did well though during that era and the XC90 was the last of the P2's still in production by 2015
