We've officially started our truck camper renovation! We knew there was water damage when we bought it, and we used that fact to help negotiate the price lower. In this video, we really dig into the damage and discover mold. Due to the amount, we opted to replace the entire slide wall. So, enjoy as we take our slide wall off and start rebuilding it from scratch!

The green stuff was likely some kind of Bondo. There are marine grades of bondo type materials that are not susceptible to water. Evercoat kitty hair is a product Napa sells, may be worth checking out.

More power to you both. I would spend the money rather than try to clean that piece off. I have no patience. And I know my husband would want to do it one way. But first he would have to stand there and think about it for at least a half an hour. We don’t work well together. I want to get something done. And he wants to stand there and look at something and think.

I have been correct. The Ryobi name is pronounced: Ree-oh-bee.
Looks like it is seam tape for the two panels.

You’re telling us 😅 we maaay have opted for that lol. But we needed to get the frame out anyway, so that took a lot of the work.
I’m not sure what you’r camper name brand is but . I’m wondering when I fix it will state having. Manual’s or how they were made . They have stuff on John Deer Trackers. . Did you get anything from manufacture that would help . You Folk are Awesome . Still shopping might wait until biden out of office . No telling what he’ll do .
