We took a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing to cars and coffee!
Thanks for watching! Another beautiful day in the North East, and as luck would have it, we got to drive supercharged American perfection. Don't let the four doors and luxury amenities fool you, this is a top, top, top performing enthusiast car. Our faces hurt from smiling as we hit red line, and we never knew a family sedan could be this FUN! You won't be seeing cars like this forever, so we're thrilled we got the chance to experience it today!
Full house at Zumbach's today! An air-cooled rally started their day at Zumbach's so we got to mingle and talk with some great air-cooled enthusiasts. The cars of that era are simply stunning, and pictures don't do them justice.

I take mine to my local small city cars and coffee and it’s the only one most folks have ever seen. I won a second place award at the last one. It’s completely stock lmao!

I received delivery of my ct5v blackwing in Maverick Noir Frost a couple month’s ago and it is everything and much much more then advertised!!!

I love this car, but every time I sit in one it feels massive. I have test driven a regular V twice and it does not really shrink around you like I had hoped, it still feels massive. Bigger than my old Chevy (Holden) SS

That car is so badass. Other than an a C8 Corvette it is probably the only GM car that I would buy new.

I almost went with this but ended up getting the CT4 Blackwing. I needed a daily driver to work the CT5 is just a bit too much car and too thirsty for a daily commuter. I was soo tempted tho..

CT4V is still a good pick! It doesn’t the outstanding V8 of the CT5, but still super cool
Yes, I agree. It would be an amazing daily if it got better gas mileage.
I was gonna trade in my Cadillac CTS-V3 for one of these but the mark-up was crazy

Great video although you could barely hear the supercharger maybe an aftermarket one it might sound a little bit louder or a pulley upgrade

Thanks for the correction! After searching around, we haven’t been able to verify that an “I.C.E.” drive mode exists, Evan may have mistakenly read the “Snow/Ice” mode as just “ice”. However, if you can send us a source that states that, we’ll add your correction to the description. Thanks! :)

@@manual-motion yeah, my Maserati has it. I thought it was for winter etc also 🤦🏼♂️. However, it does limit the amount of power, so therefore could be beneficial in inclimate weather. After speaking with Maserati of North America, their rep said it stands for Increased Control and Efficiency. If it says SNOW/ICE , then it's different than I.C.E. with periods as used in abbreviations. ........ I've been trying to post a link but, KZread hates t if it's not a youtube link and keeps deleting it.

Oh good to know links don’t work in comments, all good! Yeah we know some manufacturers have that acronym for eco mode but the Blackwing having an eco mode seems like an oxymoron haha! Nonetheless, we really appreciate the reply and for keeping us honest!

@@manual-motion my appologies. I wasn't trying to be " i'm right and you're wrong" . Sometimes it can come across that way. Yeah, eco on a black wing is like a Ferrari owner crying about gas prices.. Doesn't make sense.
