Wow, really actually impressed with that exhaust. Usually its super quiet stock. I have a 2014 CTSV and my god was it quiet stock. Now it has long tube’s and corsa sport so i wake the dead. But that black wing sounds real good for stock.

That CTS-V would be the Cadillac to own if you can find one. These cars are going to be priceless when we end up with cars having a turbo 4 with 300 hp lol. This CTS-V is louder then my 2023 C8 3LT Z51.

Love how obnoxious the cold start is😂 All the neighbors will be familiar with the new car. Edit: 17 gallon fuel tank on this thing. Definitely will go through it quickly!

Congratulations on an awesome car.

Damn, just a perfect combo of a vehicle. Review was great but always a fan of the 'Living with' videos as well for the normal daily abuse. One quick note, the CT5 V has the 3.0TT (LGY) while the CT4 Blackwing has the 3.6TT (LF4), though they may share some similar architecture, not sure. Anyway, dope video Eddie lol! And I'd personally be torn between this and the 4 blackwing.

Oh good to know. Wonder if it has to do with changes to accommodate AWD? Both Blackwings have their own set of pros and cons. Hard decision for sure haha

It's interesting how in the Touring mode they make the RPM so small...I get the lesser need for the automatic, but for manual RPM is still pretty important

I have been considering trading my V wagon in on one of these, since my wagon is automatic. The problem I have is that I really don't feel the Blackwing would have the same appeal at car events that the wagon, or even my current daily (Chevy SS) has

I believe the most important person in that equation is yourself. I think if you test drive the Blackwing and you love it over your V Wagon then do it. And TBH I've seen more than a few V Wagons.

To answer your question about the code on the steering wheel... The 8 is for 8 cylinder, the 6 is for 6 speed manual (10 speed auto would have a 1 instead), and then the production number is at the end.

Struggling to make up my mind in this one 😅 4 is smaller, cheaper and more nimble. But the 5V is a monster. If I’m being responsible…the 4V. But in my heart I want the supercharged V8

I’m sure it’s cool but I would never get it in manual. I currently drive a 2020 GT350 and I’m contemplating trading it in for one of these once I have it paid off. I’d go auto, though.

I've got one and went auto. You miss out on too much like adaptive cruise and remote start with manual, plus I drove for years in our LA traffic with a manual and trust me that's going to be no fun in a 668hp car.

That and the M5 CS are the fastest sedans you've driven? What about the Charger Hellcat Redeye? Way more power, but no manual. Still impressive performance for less money than either of the 2 you mentioned.

Hellcat redeye is the slowest 800 horsepower car in the world. It can’t put the power down and does not handle well It’s absolutely hilarious but can’t compare to the Blackwing or M5.

It has impressive performance on the drag strip. That's it. Throw it a curve and it'll feel like an aircraft carrier compared to these sedans. Completely different class of vehicle.

The only relatively new Caddy I like are the CT6 that were normal American male sized vehicles. This is too small for a Caddy. This from a company that makes Escalade SMH 🤦‍♂️

It is ok looking but IMO CTS were better looking outside, albeit with a useless interior.

Sell those cars and get one of the blackwings

I still do not recommend this car for a young man like you who owns coupes. You need a SUV. Either new Yukon Denali or new Hummer SUV instead of that useless Audi.
