This is an awfully optimistic view of things. Reminds me of when I was a kid. Kind of nice.

You know, I remember it seemed like Vewn wasn't coming out with as much stuff, and then one day I was at a record/DVD/game store, and I saw a new vinyl with her unmistakable art style. And now she's got this going. That's awesome to see

Seriously, seeing this, and seeing Victoria Vincent’s name in the credits, then seeing all of the names in the credits and realizing how big this really is, it brought a tear to my eye. Way to go, Vewn.

Love this whole series. Some of you are missing the point about the song is that he says to DO YOUR RESEARCH on taxes (aka there are tax loopholes if you're smart enough to DO YOUR RESEARCH) and VOTE or at least get involved in your government (write to senators and representatives or run for these offices yourselves) if you want to see tax laws change to your favor. OTHERWISE you better pay your tax! LOL Comprehension is EVERYTHING. Taxes do help pay for important services that we all benefit from though in this country. Once again do your research.

as much as I love the animator works and her or his channel. I seriously call BS on thing on taxes only half of that is true. most of the taxes we pay go to things that destroy the earth and used to make research for weapons for war and also go to the wealthy rich and more BS that they don't want you too know. that's what are taxes really goes to also criminals and wallstreet. very little go to good things while alot of it goes to bad things.

This is geared towards the average person, when the rich are the ones avoiding the vast majority of their taxes. It doesn't matter how much you raise the taxes. We need to close as many tax loopholes as possible. McDonalds literally avoided hundreds of millions in taxes by mailing a piece of paper around the world

Honestly agreed. I was waiting to get a better understanding on Taxes and well...here it is. Im just hoping that if it comes down to it, We The People as a netflix series, gets taught in classes in highschool so Juniors and Seniors know what to look forward to. Or for personal acknowledgment. Doesn't matter how you get the series, as long as you're in the know!

How did it take me so long to find this?! Also, I can't believe I live in a world where Vewn produced an animation with Obama. You just can't make this stuff up.

I have 2 things to say: 1. I'm glad Vewn is getting recognized cause her animations are amazing! 2. I thought this video was gonna one of those edgy songs of how "Taxes bad we want free stuff and overwork other people instead!" Song but no. This song actually teaches the importance of Tax and how the people should act by making their government use that tax money correctly. Cause they even say the importance of military spending or your country is screwed since most Nations are hella valuable and target of neighboring & far out countries. I'm glad this video is informative than idealistic.

I vote that we have selective taxes for things like war and Healthcare, while also cutting the taxes for things that can be handed to private businesses like roads, housing, and the majority of Healthcare services. That way the market is unrestricted and able to actually serve the people instead of being chained up by lobbyists and politicians to only benefit them.
