The director said we will see the prequels differently after watching The Acolyte bc they are changing Star Wars history. They are destroying canon, so don't think that ANYTHING has to happen. Disney does not care.

If the timeline is as said, Darth Tanebrous is well alive and Darth Plagueis is either found and trained to be come a Sith Aprentice or is already an aprentice. The acolyte(s) are probably most likely pawns used to fool the Jedi. The grand plan was not to be mesed with.

The Sith being bankers and industrialists is such an intriguing concept. Love that and I hope it is explored... havent really thought about the Sith having alias' yet. Awesome video..

One hundred thirty years earlier, on a former Sith world in the Cularin system, a Padawan named Kibh Jeen had been so strongly affected by the lingering power in a fortress on Almas that he submitted himself to the dark side and initiated a systemwide conflict (pg 260). So anyways, my guess is that Kibh Jeen will be the Acolyte

I do think the sith are in the show, tenebrous would be quite interesting but at this point in the timeline I think. It would be Darth Gean following her disfigurement in destroying Darth Gravid, so her searching for a new "acolyte" isn't uncommon

Darth Gean was apprenticed to Gravid in 553BBY and Twileks have an average lifespan of 75 years, so she was most likely not around during the time The Acolyte takes place.

If that’s a Sith then it could be how Yoda knew of the Rule of Two as said in Clone Wars The Sith may have thought to been destroyed and the Jedi Council covered up the incident like how they tried to cover up Qui-Gon being killed by Sith Lord Darth Maul at first Still red sabers aren’t exclusively Sith, could be a Dark Jedi, or part of a Dark Side Cult But if it is Sith then again it can be an incident that’ll foreshadow the Sith’s full return and the Jedi Council covering it up

Yes, I also think that it will be that the Council is covering up, being "villainous." They are going to make at least one Jedi Master out to be villainous. At least one MALE Jedi Master, of course. Plaguies has an apprentice before sidious and the main cast Jedi that find the Sith will be eliminated by the apprentice with the exception of Yoda, killing the apprentice. Plaguies stays hidden in the shadows and Yoda becomes the grandmaster after the encounter, leaving the question for the Jedi, was it actually the sith ?

Hear me out - there's another way it could work. What if in that scene, all the Jedi fighters bite the dust, except for our main POV character, and the Sith unit makes a hasty retreat for some unknown reason? The lone survivor reports his findings to the Grand Master, who, considering it's about a century before the prequel story, would probably still be Yoda (or he'd at least be the next in line). They [Yoda alone or with the current GM] decide to keep it hush-hush, to maintain the illusion that the Jedi are still at the height of their power/to maintain calmness. Might have some plot holes, but hey, I didn't delve too deep into the details, haha!

"There should not be a single dull moment" there really shouldn't be💯 there's literally too many key pieces moving and shaping what we know. It BETTER DELIVER ‼️

With all the way things get twisted in breaking lore, its reasons I like the idea of Dark Jedi that do chaotic good and chaotic neutral stuff. This is how come im a big fan of Chaos in Warhammer 40,000 as well, because things with Disney have removed lore that was collaborated in novels way long ago. My thoughts is that this is the Sith doing, but they are not the course of this event, more like the jedi are accidentally found out some trace of siths(or something related to other related acolytes of dark, but i dont think acolytes other than sith can be that powerful ) so the two siths needed to settle that And i am guessing that this scene will be like Darth Vader Hallway scene in Rogue One, a bonus in the last

I’m looking forward to the Acolyte when it comes out , it is worth to give the show a chance 🔥. What people have to understand is that there were always Sith existing during that 1000 years of peace that the republic was in after they were “Defeated” but the Jedi Order were to arrogant , blind & dogmatic to see it 🤷🏾‍♂️. They were doing many undercover missions during that time , I have no issue with the “retcon” here because as long as they make it fit into what the prequel movies 🎥 turn into then it’s fine with me but that’s just my opinion.

Disney is gonna nose dive this flaming heap right into the ground. As to this being a Sith or not?? I'd guess that, by it being Disney putting this out, this will be a "Maleficient" kinda show. Disney has a penchant "princessing" every damn thing it touches. So.... This will be no different. The only thing that seems to be the case with this trailer is that its events take place sometimes after the last full-blown Jedi-Sith wars but well before the events of The Phantom Meanace.

I think that the secret of the Sith and the master and apprentice role is that the Master takes on an apprentice. The apprentice has to be strong enough to kill or defeat the master. Then the masters power and essence passes into the apprentice so by the time of Palpatine he wields the power of all the Sith Masters before him going back to Darth Bane. It’s almost like a demonic possession in that the Master raises up its host apprentice and then takes that person over. So it’s almost like by the time of Palpatine there’s a legion of Sith living inside of him.

You have it wrong I watched the show already I’m giving guys a clue it’s between Darth Venamis or Darth Tenebrous which both got killed by Darth Plagueis for being careless and letting The Jedi Temple knowing their whereabouts. In the end Darth Plagueis knew someone from Naboo in the Senate is strong with the force and has no love for the Jedi ruling and being a part of the governance so he cloud is visions in his dreams showing what he could be being with him in the law of two but we know how it ends what comes around goes around.

I think Screen rant made the best case for the Acolyte. The Jedi likely covered up the truth of the Sith so they would look superior considering Qui-Gon said Anakin would bring balance to the force but if the Jedi wiped out the Sith then what are you balancing?

I never believe Dooku was a Sith. He had a decent amount of power, but never seemed to crave more. He was more of an idealist, using power for a means... at least, that is how I saw it.

See the Only thing I feel that The Jedi or Yoda knew about the Sith’s existence was at Jinn’s Funeral where Yoda Says Always 2 there are telling that he knows about the Rule of 2 and The Rule of 2 came into existence after the Sith went into hiding so that means if the Jedi thought the Sith were extinct its not logical of them knowing about the rule of 2 and if Yoda knows or has the Idea of the Rule of 2, So i’d believe something happened which only some of Jedi who are the highest the Jedi order and tried to cover it up.

Mae is the grey apprentice lost and confused - in the middle - she blames the Jedi for her supposed dead sister . But the sister isn’t dead she’s an acolyte serving a sith apprentice and Sith Lord . Mae wil realize this and team up with the Jedi using a purple lightsaber … fighting and killing her evil sister , end of show unveiling the true Sith Lord for the second season … being whoever they create …

We will see if Leslye Headland actually follows the canon history, I'll watch the show and hope for the best. She has had issues with Lucas and is more an Acolyte of Kennedy than anything else.

Season 1 introduction, Jedi of the rails going rouge Season 2 introduction Sith Season 3 Darth Plagueis now has his apprentice and all is well with the sith and the rule of two. Then a 11 year old boy is sensed, Darth sidious 💥 all hell breaks loose how hard can it be 😢

This has a lot of potential and I am very excited to see it. I agree with your idea of this show not focusing on a true Sith, but a dark Jedi aspiring to become a sith. It would be interesting if they were either trying to find a master to train them, or instead attempt to restart their own version of a sith order. Either way they would become a rival to the master or the apprentice. So excited!!

It's ironic how Ajunta Pall was a Dark Jedi along with his shadow hand Sorzus Syn and the rest of his followers. We're Dark Jedi but repudiated the ethics of the Jedi order. Being exiled from republic space traveling from one world to another in search of a habitable one. By the will of the dark side founded the red skin race known as the sith. Subjugating the sith and turning it into a philosophy by taking the Jedi code and twisting it into there own ideology. It seems the term Dark Jedi traces back to Ajunta Pall who was in actuality was the first sith lord. Heir to the sith King Adas.

Let's hope Leslye Headland, Kathleen Kennedy, and Disney will stick true to the SW Universe after having to redo this from scratch. Right now, I'm not confident they will launch a fantastic product. This isn't something that has to align with other shows currently on Disney's SW plate, so who knows how they will toss this out. Disney made many Jedi survive the purge. I could see Disney having Sith survive Bane. Not to mention some underlying political theme of some sort, to completely screw it up.

I just figured out how the acolyte series is going to end. It's going to end with palpatine killing Darth plagueis and then it's going to end with the conversation with palpatine and Darth maul. At last we will have the Jedi at last we will have revenge the ending to the acolyte series if I'm right then this news is old to me

Yes n No an Acolyte is the equivalent of a Palawan they do not hold a title like Sith or assassin. They wait until picked and not many make it.
