should do it again with a 360 degree flat lens camera would make for even better view, that's the major downside to GoPro's is the fish eye distortion. But could you image using one of the flat lens 360 degree cameras, the interactive ones that you can move the image or video and see all around it now THAT would be neat!

This is as close to being in space most of us will experience... simple technologies: weather balloon and small video cameras. Years ago, video equipment was too heavy to loft into the heavens. Today, 4K video cameras fit in the palm of your hand. One thing that would improve the overall experience is a 3 axis gyro stabilized camera platform on balloon. Add remote pan, tilt, and zoom in real time from ground to balloon and that also will improve experience.

We did that in 5 grade. Weather balloon, dry ice and a camera. Science is great. Got me to NASA stuff

When the horizon is in the middle of the screen it's level, using a fish eye lens to simulate curvature is obviously being deceptive. The horizon wouldn't rise to eye level on a globe, it would stay fixed in place and you'd keep rising above it.

Why send up a fish eye camera ? I like the part when your camera was spinning at high altitude and making the horizon appear both convex, and then concave . Then it falls and only landed 70 some KM away after a few hours in the air ....

Earth is very huge That's why you can barely see the curve. But in some moments in the video if you put a straight line in the screen you can see some curve. The stars are washed out because of the Sun brightness. If the sun gone hidden you might be able to see stars

It is in bright daylight, at sometimes the camera even looks directly into the sun. Stars are much too dim in comparison.
