I have a NYPD hat too. I have actually been told by an officer that it's illegal for me to wear. Which is weird cause i live in North Carolina and our police depts. Initials are ECPD. Another officer called him out on his bs and told me i can wear it.

I am not a cop, but I have driven cop cars. I work at a car wash and law enforcement get free outside washes. They also charge their department for the interior cleaning. When they get an interior cleaning, we have to pull them in. We had a lot of police getting their cars cleaned when Biden and Trump came to town in the same week.
