@@gordoeinstein I'd wager the ad idea/content are more controlled by the agency/in-house marketing teams from their sponsors, in this case Nissan. Ofc the Donut team has to be comfortable with the adread. So that means it is the 'big corp'

Incredible what you can do with an unlimited budget. I miss the old stuff that made me feel like i can do what donut is doing but in my garage. That being said the way the truck roared to life was pretty cool.

How is this a 50K engine when you can buy one from texas speed for 25K and its turn key. Its 28K with shipping and taxes and i live in Georgia a good distance from texas. Even cheaper used or from summit. If anyone knows why I would Love to hear your answer.

I actually had a nightmarish experience trying to get the transmission to seal back up to the engine after replacing the flex plate on a mid-90's Ford Explorer. It's not always that easy. Having the right tools (and being able to see and access all sides of the transmission) helps immensely.

just saying, visually seeing you joke around about the video while making the video was really enjoying to see and helps humanize you all. I appreciate it !

You should put the exhaust header high like this but facing backwards, this means the left one goes right and vice-versa With that it would be possible to make a custom exhaust going to the top of windshield

They said it in the beginning, but I personally feel like we should give Donut props for doing this type of content. A lot of their content is used to generate revenue, as it should be. But donut has consistently listened to the fan base and made videos that are almost guaranteed to make no money, just for our entertainment. They take care of themselves, but they take care of the fan base too and I respect that

I guarantee they made money on this vid. not hard for a large channel to clear 100k AAAANNNDD, they are going to make more videos with this truck that cost next to nothing. Plus the tax write off. Plus the sponsor. Mr. Beast can drop a quarter mill on 1 solo vid and do just fine. Donut is not hurting from this. No hate. I'm glad they are willing to do it. Though I expect the same level of performance could be done for half.

I am so here for the ranger series. Best series on here. Also, I see a turbo on that exhaust in the future.

On the coilpacks, I've had all of mine appear to be bad while another set appeared to fix it. Actually turned out to be a bad chassis ground to the coils. The "good" ones had an internal short between signal ground and chassis ground making them work even without a solid chassis ground. Fixing the bad ground made it work with the original set.

An insane ranger, a 10/10 ad, Aaron and most importantly… a dog friend. Literally the perfect video!

I would never buy a Nissan rogue but mad respect to Nissan and the donut crewfor that fantastic ad you guys did! Brilliant!

Personally, I would have swapped the headers to the opposite sides and pointed them towards the windshield, then use some pipe to make it follow the windshield and exit at the roof.

So you have a extended cab truck remove the cab and install engine/trans and the push the cab back even if u have to use a single cab to save length frame is trimmed too. Gives engine more space to vent heat and not hot spot or have dead air flow

I was wondering why you didn't go with the ZZ632 Chevy Crate? Also I kind of wished you would have done high car low car on this build would have loved to seen those builds. Also glad to see Aaron back always liked see him in the early donut videos and during the high car low car builds.

This build is absolutely bat shit insane, and I am all here for it.

The production quality of this video is mind-blowing. Imho, this is even beyond TV in many ways. Besides, you're filling the vacuum that all of Hoonigan leaving """Hoonigan""" left in the field of automotive content. Huge probs to everyone involved!

This is your best build hands down. Seems incredibly well-made. The front exhaust being functional makes it one of the coolest engine setups I've ever seen. The intake in the cabin is insanity. This thing's in/out piping is backwards. Never been this excited for a car build (sorry Tav P1)

Love this. Are you guys worried at all about fuel range with only a 22 gallon tank. A lot of these trucks run a 50-100 gallon fuel cell. These engines are thirsty and driving offroad =extra rolling resistance reducing mpg even more. It’s probably in the single digits for mpg. And please do some pre runner testing before the actual race to try to get parts to fail. Then you still have a chance to correct them before race day. ❤❤❤ all the love guys. We want you to succeed.

So glad to see Aaron back again. I saw him on Real mechanics stuff a couple weeks ago, excited to see him back on Donut main channel as well. Dudes great!
