Seen some comments so I thought I’d address this… I like a roque a lot. A lot of this “thinking he hasn’t been playing enough is unfair” or “he isn’t good” is what I’ve seen A LOT of people online say about it. It’s not my opinion. I say he is for the future at the end of the video.

Bobby you have to understand ,players want to make a mark as soon as possible. For them the future is now. They just don't see it that way.

Vitor Roque is a signing for the Future... He has to stay patient... His time will surely come.. He is the successor of Lewandowski and he needs to stay under the guidance of Lewa and don't forget when he came he was injured let's not rush him...

You do not put Lewandowski and Roque in the same sentence. He was never going to replace the polish striker this season - despite what some casuals hoped for. He is a young boy who played a full season in Brazil and is coming back from an injury. What Roque need to do now is to learn, especially from players like Lewandowski, and enjoy the minutes he get to test himself and understand what he lacks. Then shows he is the right guy for the team over time. This is where he is now.

they don't even have thesame profile. they is a reason why the club is following benjamin sesko and why marc guiu is still in the first team dynamics. deco when asked why vitor roque was signed, he say the forward line lacked a runner and that's what vitor roque is. lewandoski is a target man so vitor roque can't replace lewandoski. interms of runners, ferran and felix is ahead of him so he has to fight to earn his spot. i think he can displace both players when he has fully adjusted to the role.

The thing is out of all the most talented youngster we had/have vitor roque is the only one who is managed properly. Barca are not putting pressure on the young kid and giving him proper time to adapt. I hope fans understand and will remain patient with him. And next season we should do this with yamal and cubarsi as well. Give them proper rest. Play them only in required matches

Thats a cope mate. Roque has literally no chance of starting if Lewandowski got his form back. Roque doesnt seem to be even close to Lewandowski for now. Roque was meant to be next Cavani, but he lacks technique... Imo wasted 45 mln. As for wingers - imo Raphinia, Felix, not to mention Yamal are way better on those positions.

You're right. This video completely ignores the fact that he dribbles, holds the ball, is really quick, and presses really well. Also, he has had only one poor game and is miles ahead of Guiu. Finally, he's young, playing for a coach who'll leave at the end of this season. So, I don't this this video is even needed.

@@Cognictv I do agree that he should get more playing time but he needs to work on his link up play because the ball bounces off him too much in give and goes, and quick one twos. You’ll see he will bench Lewandowski once he unlocks that part of his game but that’s important for a Barca striker

the main issue I have is that there have been clear times where barca were not playing well, lewa was ghosting until he got a tap in opportunity and Xavis still refused to sub him in. He has also played well/decent when subbed in and revitalized the attack in the process, he needs more minutes that should not even be debatable

Vitor Roque as a revulsive from the left side is a good option. Xavi clearly likes tall strikers and Roque is known for being a good left winger. What Roque gives is attacks to spaces. Raphinha and Roque are the only two people who know how to attack the space in the wings. In the Pep Barcelona squads the team also had 2 wingers who attacked the space and Xavi clearly likes it.

He’s one of our few players actually managed right we cannot risk to lose him to injury when we have an experienced injury free striker

And now that Lewa is back in form i don't think he'll be getting any significant game time soon. Hopefully with Lewa getting older next season and a new manager coming in he can start more games

This video has a lot of misinformation. Barcelona didnt sign Roque mid season because Lewandowski had bad form and they were desperate. They signed him because Gavi got injured and lost a player in the squad so they decided to bring him because they had a free spot for a player. And Roque was never meant to be here this season he was suppose to come in next season. So they basically brought him in to make sure he is here and doesnt end un switching up like Endrick did when they lost endrick to madrid. And beford he even landed at Barcelona xavi had already talked about how they werent going to put much pressure on him and that he was onlt 19. he didnt come to Barcelona mid season to be our savior. And being on the wing and playing as a striker is completely different its not similar. I think if next season he doesnt get many minutes then i think we have a problem. What people fail to realize is that Vitor Roque came this year to adapt to Barça’s style and Europe in general, so he could be prepared for next season or 2025. If he was younger or he was cheaper, I truly believe he would be playing in Barça B, such as the likes of Araujo, in order to help his adaptation.

In fact, our expectations of him this season is to compete and bring out the best in Lewy (Which he did) But he HAS to get minutes as a CF as the back up to Lewy. Guiu still plays as a CF in games at the B-Team.. but Vitor cannot improve his hold-up and link up play as a CF if he doesn't play there. The game in which Xavi played Guiu ahead of Roque felt like a needless statement to the poor boy.

it has nothing to do with that. he coming from brazil, he needs to adapt and the team is currently playing well and you need that confidence doesnt need to be distorted so he is playing less right now. barca is not that mess of a team that a kid from brazil will jump right into the team without preseason when the kid name isnt RONALDO

lewa is also 35 and roque needs to be slowly starting games at least with lower tier competition
