So far it seems like every single podcast/interview with Kramnik goes with the same scenario. He juat repeats same things again and again (starting with the same story of how he got into online chess) and interviewers are never able to actually challenge his statistics. It goes like "I respect what you do and I agree that cheating is a problem we should fight but " to which he responds that he is "obviously" correct and presents generally emotions and charisma rather than any math. P.S. I know myself that I would still watch an interview with Kramnik on this channel, but I dont have any expectations for it to be productive and bring anything new

Seeing a few remarks about English usage - English is a flexible, world language that gets enriched by non-native usages. Don't fret about 'correctness'; we don't have an Academie Anglaise. The most infuriating part about Kramnik's statements is that he claims he's not making accusations, just 'presenting statistics'. It's obvious that he believes these 'overperformers' are cheating, and all his fans interpret it as such. And then he gets offended when the people he accuses say negative things about him, claiming that they are harassing him for no reason, as if he didn't attack their integrity for no reason.

I think you put some fair points across. I think the way Kramnik places himself in this scenario is quite bad. Arguing with random people online, not understanding how the internet works, accusing people left and right. He is just terrible at putting his point across. He even thinks flagging in a blitz or bullet match is unethical. It gets quite difficult to then take him seriously. Magnus made the same point with far more maturity and he is way younger.

You say that Kramnik is trying to save chess. Actually, his aggressive style is doing the opposite. He accuses people left and right, that is exactly destroying chess, not saving. Even though he says he is not accusing, his actions tell otherwise. Blocking people left and right, resigning, etc. He IS accusing. He even says himself - "ok, this is clear to me" (that a person is a cheater).

No matter how right or wrong he is, the way he communicates and presents his "interesting findings" ruins everything. I respectfully disagree, I don't think it has anything to do with his communication strategy. Hikaru is an extremely popular influencer, not only a chess superstar - who is literally sponsored by the company he's attacking - and he is willing to straw-man or at least badly misinterpret Kramnik's statements to his audience. Kramnik was damned to ridicule from the start, no matter what his communication strategy was, and he knew that.

I respect his chess and I respect he has the balls to talk about it, but he not competent in statistical analysis which makes him look like a baffoon. This also makes the cheating problem to not seem so serious when everyone can poke holes in his methods and he is the loudest guy in the room. A much better way would be for the top chess players or fide to find a team of statisticians and together get to the bottom of the problem and propose solutions. But now it seems like many top chess players don't want to jump into Kramniks boat because it leaks and smells like fish (and I dont blame them for it). Thats why they all comment that it's a problem but refuse to give him full credence because he is doing a lousy job at it. Hope things start to get organized a bit on this front
