So I have a little story to say about these lipsticks. When this collab was announced there were three colors I wanted: Screamer, Fred and berry me in all the lipsticks. I made sure to grab them as soon as they got restocked since I missed the first launch. A few months later my school announced that they were temporarily shutting down due to COVID-19. I few months later I started unpacking my suitcase as it became clear this shutdown was gonna be more long term then planned. I found out then that I left Screamer in my dorm. At the time I was ok with that because I thought we would be coming back soon. Until this September, when a wildfire started near my school and nearly took my down with it. I thought Screamer was lost when that happened. Fortunately my school mostly survived. But it was gonna be a while. Well recently I was able to retrieve most of my stuff from the school. And back in my collection was Screamer. I was so happy to see that lipstick back in my hands. I will never let it go ever again. So that is my slightly dramatic story on how I got separated from one of my Safiya lipsticks and the journey of how I got it back. If you read all of this, I applaud you. I am not gonna ask for anything in return. I just hope you appreciate this story Edit nearly two years later: holy crap. My slightly dramatic story got a 1K+ likes. I had no clue people truly did appreciate this story. Thank you all for the likes.

This videos satisfied the part of me that deeply misses wearing lipstick everyday, and the part that misses the Mythbusters.

Honestly the fact that colourpop reached out to Safiya to collab rather than the other way around just speaks volumes to how good our bat lady is at marketing. Her brand is so on point that a makeup giant wanted to jump aboard her ship.

safiya eliminates like so much of my anxiety - it's storming so hard out rn and im scared of storms. been binging safiya for like 2 hrs.

This has such high school play tech week vibes. Everyone's doing something, nobody really knows what's going, Saf is the newest member of the cast who honestly has no idea what she's doing but managed a lead role and is just trying to help with whatever she can because she didn't get marked as part of any particular set/lighting/costumes group, everyone else is the rest of the cast as well as the stagehands and the techies. It's a whole thing.

I love how supportive and encouraging the colourpop staff was 😭 every time Safiya got worried about if she was doing something right they were like “you’re doing amazing sweetie!!!”

The rewatchability of safiya's vidoes are insane, i never get bored after watching one after another

I've only just come across this video and I think it is absolutely amazing that Safiya actually helped to make this work. A lot of people would be like well I gave them the idea I'll just wait to see the finished product and not help with the process. Also I feel as though a lot of viewers would just look over the fact of Safiya helping and giving her credit where credit is due
