@@tartaglia. kpop is a genre in of itself. Its biggest influences are jpop and rnb and hiphop. There is some really good stuff, and some atrocious stuff. I like the more dreamy, creative side of kpop myself (think loona, gwsn, wjsn and billlie) but there is a lot of variety.

Can we appreciate that Safiya didn’t cut this video into like four different parts? Like other KZreadrs would end it on a cliffhanger with clips of them being like “omg I can’t believe that happened. What are we gonna do now?” But then it turns out they just dropped a spoon or something. Safiya just gave it to us all at once which is great because it flows way better as one video and stuff like that. Props to the editors 😊

Red velvet is notoriously hard to stack because it’s a extremely moist fluffy cake that’s meant to be light and airy unlike other cakes which can hold more pressure, it also looks like the red velvet was around where the cake was leaning the most so that’s my hypothesis :)

Before you cut the cake to even it out you should of freeze the cake first so when you cut the cake it won’t crumble like some did 😊

At this point the “irregular activity” they’re looking for is purchases that *aren’t* suspicious. As in; “Her card was just charged $1000 worth of shampoo” “Yep, that’s Safiya alright. But what’s this purchase from yesterday?” “... Looks like $30 dollars at a grocery store” “Okay there’s no way that was her. Freeze the account”

Me who constantly watches baking shows: Nooooo, you can’t pour the batter more than halfway!! Her: Haha, batter go splat.

It’s usually about 3/4 full when you put cake in the oven - at least every time I’ve baked, but that’s almost certainly the cause of the calamity

The top layer is for the couple to save until their 1 year anniversary (by freezing of course) and eat it together. so they’ll be the only ones eating the massaged layer 😂

I love how they say "Somehow caused it to overflow" when they very much filled the pans too full 😂😅 (I know they said they hadn't done much baking, and that is something you learn with experience, but... omg 🤣)

Can we please just acknowledge the amount of EFFORT Safiya and Tyler put into their videos? Like, the strength and patience that goes into their videos are ASTRONOMICAL. Thanks guys, you're the best!

I love making desserts but absolutely hate decorating so watching the torture of construction in your franken-wedding-cake, only solidified my already total rejection of the process.
