Nothing could have prepared me for this collab OR a pair of shoes called Meme Women 😂😭

I had to look all over my town for a pair of “Mary Jane” shoes. I ended up going into Chicago and finally found them. I wore my white - cream colored Mary Janes for my wedding in 1999. I’m trying to find more. I love 1930s - 40s shoes & clothing.

I actually need to replace my work shoes at some point this year, and since I usually tend toward jeans and dark tops, I'm still trying to convince myself that that wouldn't work (I'm failing so far lol, either the magenta or the teal versions I think would work with most of what I have)

@@claram5482 in more ways than this, they are also going prohibition style on legitimate pain medicine which has become a huge problem in the USA. This country seems to be determined to continue to go backwards rather than forward in terms of progress. I cannot believe that healthcare here has become so archaic, that’s not just an opinion, quality of healthcare in the United States has slipped to about #48 worldwide, can you guess how much further that quality is going to continue to drop as governments become more and more involved in writing and enforcing laws that are not based on science or medicine? I cannot believe the absurdity they are getting away with right now. Why, with more information available to us than ever before are we moving backwards? This I will never understand. Ps sorry to get off topic, the shoes are beautiful and I come here to get a taste of culture and beauty and to forget about the many problems of modern life, though I admit that your comment (I suppose obviously) struck a chord.

I’m so tempted to buy the black on black pumps as work shoes because they are gorgeous, but I’m on a student budget. Congratulations on the collab Karolina! 💜💜

Have you considered reviewing this year's Met Gala? The theme was Gilded Glamour (the Gilded Era) and although like 99% missed the assignment and didn't care about the theme, there were still some inspirations.

As someone who's wardrobe is largely pink and black, I NEED those color block shoes 😍

If American Duchess brought out even one pair of wide fitting shoes I would buy the hell out of them. I practically ruined my $400 (after currency conversion and shipping) Claire Oxfords trying to make them fit my wide tootsies. Til then, Memery Shoes all the way.

I have no interest in shoes at all. But I once cane across a collection of 1920's/30s women's shoes in a second hand shop and was totally amazed by the craftsmanship and construction! I was also amazed by the tiny size! The shoes brought to mind the feeling you would get from handling a finely crafted model car or maybe a sculpture. I'm not a collector of anything, but if I ever became one, 1920's/30s shoes are something I would consider.
