There's two ends of historical sewing KZreadrs spectrum: the "l hand sewed the entire 17 century dress in time appropriate stitching techniques using pattern from that times" and Karolinas "I just layed this thing on the floor and kinda traced it and assumed some things and hadn't finished the insides because I hated it" and both end up looking amazing and I absolutely love it.

Better than three feet (one meter) of snow overnight, a 50F (10C) degree day where it all melts, and a 25F (-4C) night where it all freezes again, and then you have work in the morning and your boss can't seem to understand that EVERYTHING MIGHT AS WELL BE AN ICE RINK and you can't step foot out your door without landing on your butt on solid ice! Bitter? Me? Probably.

Is it still fall? When does it end? I really love fall and it's actually my favourite season but I tend to not make the best of it and miss out each year stupidly enough. Early autumn is perfect for me but it passes me by before I even really think about it because I tend to dwell on finding peace and calm from the hectics of summer (😵) that always completely disrupt my equilibrium and unnerve me for far too long while later in autumn it has gotten thus cold that I find it hard to will myself to go out into nature even though I really should!

November is the embodiment of fall. Taylor Swift’s folklore aesthetic could not exist without November, I said what I said. Gothic literature/entertainment could not exist without November. Isn’t it a bit late in the spring to still be getting Maggie attacks? They attack in September only where I am. But I am very unhappy about the heat tho. Brisbane is not a good place to live if you’re like me, and prefer the coldest, wettest, greyest and foggiest weather. Toowoomba during winter is good for fog, but the people up there are awful (sorry, not sorry. The landscape is pretty and the weather is superior. Can’t have everything I guess). I hate the heat. I wish it could just be winter again. I need to move to Scotland or somewhere where it actually gets cold and rarely gets hot.

I am a Scorpio; I read somewhere that the specific date and time of my birth means that I'm one of "the most Scorpio Scorpios to ever exist." In numerology, I am a 4, which is considered unlucky by the Japanese due to the fact that it sounds like "death" when spoken aloud. Every. Single. Astrology-like system, when I input my info, comes back with 'DEATH DEATH DEATH DEATH REBIRTH DEATH DEATH DEATH.' It used to bother me, but now I just laugh. I haven't died yet. I associated November with spooks rather than October because in the Philippines, November 1 is 'Undas' or All Saints Day. There's a palpable feeling of silence during the day when all the grown ups would go to visit the graves. My cousins and I were left at home and would sometimes hide under blankets while the older ones share scary stories (I still remember one about a reaper in a black robe that roamed at night with feet so sensitive, if they stepped on a childs haphazardly strewn outdoor slippers by the door because they didn't put it on the slippers rack properly, they would become so enraged, find out the owner's identity and would reap their head when theyre sleeping. The slippers rack was immaculately tidy for a whole week.). Then the fear is compounded by the late TV shows of scary folklore creatures, 'sightings', horror shows and movies etc. It was great.

I've always loved November and I've always been a little bit annoyed at how people rush to Christmas before December begins. Not only does it mean that people are ignoring November, but it means that many people ignore the season of Advent too! Plus it causes Christmas fatigue and by the time December 25th comes around it feels like Christmas already passed weeks before. *edit:* For clarification as someome who lives in the U.S. it always feels a bit disorienting to see Christmas decorations and hear Christmas music before Thanksgiving (the holiday most associated with November here) has even passed. On top of that, many people are unaware that the 12 days of Christmas actually *begin* on December 25th and last until January 5th! Which is why I complained about people celebrating Christmas before December 25th even arrives.

Absolutely I wish Christmas was in January. The whole winter holiday thing is off by a month in my opinion. Not only does it railroad the beauty of autumn -(which actually lasts until December 21!) but then it leaves us with nothing afterwards-no real winter celebrations from January 2-March 22-which is when spring begins. So we go the whole winter bored! Christmas is placed at the end of fall yet we celebrate it like a winter holiday! This should be the next rant…

I just realised that despite not being into sewing or designing fashion etc. My two favourite female KZreadrs are Karolina and Pixie (Pixielocks) and to me the things they have in common despite completely different styles: -FUNNY -strong whilst still being gentle -expressive, beautiful faces -interesting and friendly storytelling -unique and different from other KZreadrs. Doing their own thing.

I like November. Just the other day I took a walk through my neighborhood enjoying its Novemberness - grey skies, quiet, mostly bare trees with some colourful foliage still hanging on but most of it on the ground. It was beautiful. I also love your cat.

I loved everything about this. I also love November -- and all other things just as gloomy. I just love mood. I love when there is ice all over everything, but not yet snow, and all the scratching and creaking gives way to tiny crystal bells. I love the crows, and I feed them all winter starting in November. And I love getting cozy next to the fire when the November gales howl beyond the window. And you're absolutely right: Bronte books ARE November in book form. Which is why I'm going to use up all my extra Audible credits on the books I haven't read yet. Thanks for the inspiration! 💜

November is low-key one of my favorite months becauuuuussseee, it's the most gothic month. High collars, black and purple velvet, burgundy too, a heavy satin. And we can dry our herbs, drink tea, listen to Siouxsie Sue and the Banshees, Angel Olson, Florence and the Machine, and write poems by the window in the falling light, maybe read some Dickinson, some Plath....yessss. And window candles, and haunted pining!

THANK YOU. My birthday is in november, so I love the month (also do to the climate), and it is SO SAD that just when October is over NOBODY CARES ABOUT NOVEMBER. It´s like it´s just a transition month between spooky, cool October and freakin December full of JOY and PRESENTS... But not anymore, YOU HEAR ME? NOT ANYMOREEEEEE, MAKE NOVEMBERS GREAT AGAAAAAAAAAAAAIN. Also, here in Mexico the Day of the Dead is in November, so it SHOULD BE MORE IMPORTANT AT LEAST HERE, BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Hey, we NEVER forget the tamales. lol jk. Well, at least from the part of Mexico Im from, it is sadly like that. There are other states, however, that make The Day of the Death A HUGE celebration, just beautiful... But in mine, since we are so close to the United States, it´s kind of forgotten and replaced by CHRISTMASSSS. It´s so tiring seeing the stores go from skeletons and witches to reindeers and gnomes in the blink of an eye, UGHHHH

I’ve always felt like November is a really important month here in North America. It’s always had a really potent frontier vibe to me. It has a lot to do with Thanksgiving and Native American Heritage month, but the whole month of November feels very nostalgic and reflective on the past, like way more so than any other time of year (I think having Halloween and All Souls Day and then all historical holidays right after has a big influence). I grew up in the North out in the country and I always loved November because we had a wood burning stove to heat the house during winter (with winter temperatures regularly below zero, or below 32 degrees Celsius). The loggers would drive their truck to our house and dump a HUGE pile of chopped wood in the driveway, and my grandpa and I would spend a couple hours stacking it against a wall in our garage. It was really peaceful, we wouldn’t even talk much, just stack the wood working side by side enjoying the autumn smell in the air. Whenever I played outside at this time of year I always felt like some pioneer kid romping around in the woods! A northerner would be wasted on a November without a good hayride, apple picking, hot apple cider, and cinnamon donuts! Thank you for drawing a attention to the lack of November appreciation though, it’s important to find the unique beauty of every time and part of Nature so we don’t risk taking them for granted 🤙✨

Here, November is probably the darkest month of the year. The night is already super long with only a few hours of daylight, but the snow hasn't yet started sticking around, so both the ground and the skies are just so, so dark. But on the other hand, just came back from a full moon walk by the lake and it was fantastic, with the temperature a slight bit below freezing all the grass and leaves and reeds were frosty and sparkly and with the lakeside being unlit, I could see the stars really well and the moon was SUPER bright :D Plus, the lake was already frozen over so it was very calm and beautiful! So the darkness isn't all bad and I do enjoy it, at least like, half the time :D

Sometimes I feel like we, from this modern era, can never truly appreciate the moon like our ancetors did, because the land has become unbearably bright, and the moon always shines so dimly, almost insignificant. But your poetic description makes me think that the stunning beauty is not lost afterall, at least in certain countries. Thank you.
