@@lollypopbeatz Hey, so I use to make beats heavily back in the day and I just bought fruity loops producer with all the plugins. I use to use omnisphere and atmosphere mainly. Are those still good vsts? Which do you recommend me getting? Especially for those nice sub basses and kicks I remember those being hard to get good quality. I’m teaching my daughter how to make beats and music too!

when you started out, did you rebuild from tutorials aswell? if yes when was the point when you were able to come up with your 100% own authentic beats? :) asking cause i have the problem, i rebuild alot of stuff for practise, but it obviously doesent feel like its my own stuff. when i do stuff on my own without help i always think its not good enough or smtn

I feel you 100%, I definitely took a lot of inspiration from tutorials and that’s important as a beginner as you can only learn from what inspires you, I’d say just add something of your own on top of a beat you have replicated and just keep practicing that way until you start something from scratch
