The James Chapeskie videos is maybe my favorite Kurtis video of all time. It was so refreshing to see a project full of so much palpable passion, and it was humanizing in a way we rarely see on the internet. With someone that Kurtis conner could easily make fun of, he saw something new and creative and chose to learn more about it, take us through that process, and raise up a small creator to his huge audience. That one really got to me.

First thing I do whenever I see a KZreadr with millions of followers is go to their videos and sort by oldest. They always have a 8+ year timeline and hundreds of videos published. This is not even including videos they deleted. All KZread takes is time and consistency guys. There's no secret. I would HOPE after 8+ years you'd finally have 1mil subs holy cow that's a long time of trying.

I have loved watching Kurtis Conner because I can watch it more passively without worrying that he's going to slip in some kind of bad faith judgment of people, or something hateful. I trust that he put the thought into it to be kind and I don't have to be hypervigilant, picking apart his intentions or something. I can just chill and laugh.

I’ve been watching Kurtis for a few years now and I’ve only really known him as a youtube persona. I knew he did stand-up but he doesn’t really delve into it as much in his videos until his comedy special and kinda when he mentions his tour, like i didn’t know he went to college for it and was pursuing it. It was really awesome to hear how passionate he is about it.

I need to comment on your videos more... I just find that I listen to your episodes often when driving with my wife or doing things around the house. I learn something new to take and apply from every single video. Some videos I've even listened to 2-3 times (Mr. Beast Manager was fascinating, but also the Tim Ferris episode), and this was fantastic as well. It's so awesome to see a KZreadr turn into a comedian and do shows. Can totally relate with the grind of "just more content equals more money" and "let me just finish this quick edit and then I'll come to dinner" (sorry Andra...) Appreciate so much what you're all doing for the KZread community and haven't missed an episode. Don't worry, this won't be the last episode, every single one we'll continue to listen to haha

@@ColinandSamir I am doing great. Looking forward to the upcoming holiday season and the new year that will have more consistent content. I feel like it’s an amazing time for creators.

I think people who can be successful constrained to 6 second clips of content will inherently have staying power because I feel like it requires a level of creativity to make 6 second content that actually has impact & can build an audience. It’s a testament to a creators abilities and translates well to other mediums
