We Have To Talk About Phil Foden
Спорт
Phil Foden Has Been absolutely incredible for Manchester City this season. And while it's great that he's getting the credit he deserves, there are still some that are reluctant to admit how good he is. And I think I know why.

imo there could be superstars in other major leagues that can contend with being best player without their league being the best league. Think of it like this: A team can be the best team because of their team work, but the players themselves may not be the best, but a team may not have the best teamwork, but some players show insane individual performance that can carry the team up to a certain lvl
brother, Oscar Bobb is going to be a mainstay in our lineup for the next few years. and our academy has had more export power than any other in England. i think Pep is incredibly picky in what he wants for the squad but many clubs in the PL era also haven’t utilized their academy and i don’t think MCFC can be considered one of them

The first time he played for Man Cty's A team I turned to my son and said "Foden has looked the most dangerous player n this whole game"... and game after game he has been just that, the most dangerous player for Man City. He's a real talent, pretty humble, and has it all. He'll struggle to get the recognition he deserves while in a star studded Man City team. It will be very interesting to see Foden's longevity in the future compared to other players who weren't rested as much and played from a very young age
Please make a video on Julian's underrated season so far🙏 🥺. Guy I think is like 5-7 in g/a away from Foden and in much less games and he's still not talked about. He scored or assisted in all but one of the games he was replacing Earling for, for 2 months and sure he's been unlucky in his last few matches, but he's really been performing in all of them. Unlike Halland( who, declaimer, I love), even when he's not scoring or assisting, you see his presence on the pitch. I feel he's really been under appreciated this season 😔

Honestly, most of Liverpool's players are doing well. Endo, Diaz and Nuñez are all doing really well too. Even Gomez is having a great season. But I don't expect him or Darwin to win it. I am happy if Liverpool wins the league. All their players are appreciated by the fans either way
Great video, man ! I am French and more a fan of Liverpool, but i have to say each time i watch a play with Manchester i am stunned of how he is ridiculously so good, with and without the ball. Footballer of the year for me, no doubt about it.

Some of the most common sense commentary I've heard in a while...well researched, well considered too...massive fan mdara wangu😂😂
Great vid as always
Man City's depth is provided by Pep. He has players performing well, and effectively. Clearly, he instructs his players in a way that they not only understand what he expects but they believe they can and will deliver. TBH if he leaves that league, I'll feel sorry EPL. They truly don't deserve the extra european places earned by Italy and Germany. Liverpool minus Klopp and Salah is bad enough, but if city was to lose Pep too, it would be shambolic.
I love this channel. Like a lot.
I once read a football manga called "Ao Ashi". Now, the main team "Tokyo fc esperion youth academy" has a broken squad for being a youth club, with 4 players from their squad always being called up to play for japan's nationals, so for a high school team, they have about 5-6 potential candidates to pick from for nationals. While that is impressive, the players are called up in the middle of their high school league, leaving behind a team with 4 spots open, that were filled by these stupidly talented players. The coach then said that what makes a strong team, is when the substitutes are on the level as the main starting 11 as well. The team that mostly fits this in my mind, is Manchester city, and their great roster of top tier players
"England will lose in the most extravagant way possible" 😂 Well said!
Great video !!!
Pls do a video on Alfredo Di Stefano I never see people talk enough about him in the Goat debate imo he is only behind Messi and Pele. The greatest signing in Madrid history and the reason why they are the club they are today. As well as the most complete player the game has ever seen. Yet not enough people mention him. The only winner of the Super Ballon d'or. And won 2 ballon d'ors and it lnly existed when he was past 30 Messi himself has only won 3 past the age of 30 he could easily won at least 4 Ballon d'or if it existed since he began playing the game.

I'd be more interested in the super team he was part before going to RM: River Plate from the 40's, known as "La Máquina". A team that was considered the very best of that decade worldwide. This is particularly important since River is considered to have the best football's youth academy in Argentina, above other great ones like Argentinos Juniors (Mac Allister and Maradona, for example), Vélez Sarsfield (Otamendi, Simeone), Newell's Old Boys (Maxi Rodriguez, Scaloni), Rosario Central (Di María), Estudiantes (Verón), Independiente (Bochini, Dibu Martínez), and Racing Club (Diego Milito, Lautaro Martínez).

I think he is easily the best player on the league this season. It's true his role has change on 2024 meaning he is more crucial in terms of being part of goals and assists. But nonetheless he is easily the best player of the premier ( in terms of the eye test not stats) this seaso along with Palmer who yes, half his goals are penalties (16 goals 8 penalties currently) but he is too crucial in terms of goals created for a horrendous Chelsea who might be stressing over relegation without him
Do you reckon you could make a video on athletic club (they just won the copa del rey in spain and could be interesting)Many thanks ❤

You’re not wrong. Especially about England. Henderson will be starting. I dream of the day we’d have a manager who could be more attacking. We’re going to waste these players with Southgate as manager.
He's in exceptional form but there's definitely several players in the league who you can make the case are better than Foden, although he certainly belongs in that debate by this point Rodri could very well become one of the best defensive midfielders of all time. Van Dijk is more or less back to his pre injury best. De Bruyne is still De Bruyne even if he missed half the season. Salah isn't as exciting as he once was but he's still insanely consistent and his already underrated playmaking ability has gone up another level. Saliba and Gabriel have been world class defensively. Mac Allister and Rice have completely transformed their respective teams. There's other examples out there as well but all of those players have a very strong case going for them
