New dollar bill acceptors use a dual scanner to read the bills. It doesn't matter how you insert them (backwards, upside down) and they will read pretty much anything. It's not like the past, where the bill acceptor was limited to $1s (and occasionally $5s). The process was similar to a VHS player. American bills contain magnetic ink on them. The bill acceptor used an electromagnetic head to read the bill face and matched it to the stored data on the ROM chip. This is the reason why you had to insert the bill in a certain way.

5:55 - I would like to try out a 3D Printer one day! 😀 So, I'd say yes to your Question there! 😀 The Question though is the Colors, like if it'd 3D print some Colors out, as I especially have some ideas of what I've wanted to try, as something that I already have, I wanted to try & 3D print them in different Colors to see how they'll look & turn out. 🤔

So how long before you own you own arcade? You rock -- not only at gaming, but engineering!

Perhaps the owner could 3D print some miniatures of the track design seen at 9:06. You could have them as minor prizes.

I know I’m super late to this video, but this arcade looks amazing. I wish I lived a little closer, but one day I’ll make it there. The go karting looks amazing. I’m also amazed at the accuracy of 3D printing. It’s awesome how precise the plate was made for the bill collector. Darryl seems like a great person and I’m sure he’s happy to have Matt on board. Gregg is also a legend from Zone 28.

Love the content Matt, I am a mech at a arcade and I fix games and install swipes on new games when they arrive and stuff so I can relate to the content.

Love 3d printing. Have 3 printers, one I have as a project printer to build a much larger printer than what I have. Love seeing arcade and 3d printing come together in this video.

I just started learning to use my 3d printer and so far it's pretty cool. I've made a few things to help at work, and around the house. I'm getting ready to use both my 3d printer and my cricut to make identifiers for the company cars since we have multiple of the same color and model of cars or will have so we can keep keys in line and not have people grabbing the wrong key for the car they need.

3D printing is a great solution for this! I have 3 printers (Two Ender 3s and a Sonic Mini 4K) It's incredible how useful it's been. Recently printed some bag clips, and I've also had great success printing things for my aquariums! (With safe plastic, obviously) I find that size of the printer is not as useful as multiple printers, you can get so much more done.

The math portion was...chefs kiss 🤌

On theory(I have not used his 3D printer or programming stuff, unless it’s Autocad so idk, but), if your friend has a flatbed scanner, he could scan the plate next time into his computer program. Then there is less measuring for holes and cut outs. Just add the thickness and done! I’ve done this plenty of times when I needed a template or something else ;)

Using exposed hardware and not shoulder bolts is a total rookie move. Some smartass with a Philips screwdriver is going to break into the bill validator.

Thieves could easily break a 3D-printed plate and possibly steal your bill acceptor. Probably okay for a temporary solution at a safe route location, but then again, you advertised to the whole internet that it's there, so...

I have this Machine in Mind. Halo The Arcade Sniper and Dave & Busters

Actually enjoyed the 3d printing. Im a cnc operator, and would love to get into this. But it would be like working my job, and having an exact same thing as a hobby.

I had to Axe Quick Scope the Arcade Machine to open more fun machines like Halo the Sniper Arcade Cabinet

Another video or Matt just being a champ, helping out, being a decent person.
