We Got 3 BED, 1000m2 Plot - Bulgarian House w/ Outbuildings - Young Couple Renovation Project
This is the highly anticipated video tour of the Bulgarian house and its land that myself and my partner Anisha bought in 2018. The original video's audio corrupted with the selfie stick, so excuse the narration if it seems to not quite fit in places. But at least you get a perspective of what we have gotten ourselves into! We've done so much since this video and can't wait to show you the difference in the next house tour video. Keep an eye out!
Thanks for checking us out! 🌾

That's so much for the money isn't it ... Beautiful 😍
Found your channel today, seems like I’ve got a lot to catch up on 😅. Lovely big property and a lot of hard work ahead I’d guess 😉

Hi Paul, we hope you enjoy watching our journey as we turn the run down unloved property into a home 🏡
About 20 years ago my wife parents bought a house in Elena region same condition and we passed the same long way of renovation as you.For me as leaving in Varna was very inspiring.
Looking good guys, look forward to following your journey!
Great video, keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing future videos
The price of materials have gone up so much recently here in Bulgaria ... its just cheaper to buy fully renovated houses now with how much these kind of houses cost to renovate

It's all relative, we're a quarter of the way through the complete renovation process to get what we want and, from what we've spent so far, we see houses going for so much more, even 5x to a "fully renovated" house, and they're all the same looking. However, yes, prices have dramatically increased since we've been here I will agree there
What was the reason for chopping down the peach tree? I know you mentioned the chimney, but seems like it could have just been trimmed back for that. Was it causing other issues, or did you just prefer a clear space there? For me, it looked like the best thing about this house 😅

Unfortunately it was infected and diseaed also, so the larger branches were causing a risk to falling at any point. It was a lovely aspect of the house when it was in full bloom but it had to go 😔
Goodness me, cutting all these beautiful fruit trees which I'm sure are a 100 years old is a crime. You just need to Pollard them, trim them. What a shame! What a crime!😢
Hi, whereabouts in BG are you located, if you dont mind, and did you buy the ride on mower as im looking for one when next in BG, Cheers

We'd rather not say the exact village on here but feel free to chat through Facebook or Instagram if you have it. We're based in the Strahitza region. It's actually my dad's but it's a small trailer puller tractor thingy haha but ride on mowers of all sizes are always being advertised on the expat Facebook pages 🙂
You're not that far away from where I'm thinking of buying in Tatari.

Hey, looks like you're an hour and a half away from us, still close but maybe not as close as you originally thought? Haven't really had the chance to explore up that way, so can't really advise

Sadly this is one of our poor quality videos, I know it's so frustrating 😔 The whole video didn't record original audio as I walked round so I badly tried to narrate it over the top.
