Love all your vids paul! I was hoping to see some MM adjustable rear lower control arms with regular springs, which doesn't require you to remove the wheels. The set up you have seems easy enough to adjust but was wondering if it was a soft ride or on the stiff side?
@PaulDaFox
10 ай бұрын
Thanks brother, the suspension feels great! The rear has the adjustable spring perch with an adjustable Koni shock and its just right for me👌 I have it set so its not too soft but not stiff as a board. Hope that helps, have a great weekend! 👊🦊🏁
If anyone wants an easy way to take tint off....spray the inside of the window with glass cleaner, tape a plastic bag tight over the widow and put the car in the sun for 15 mis or so. The tint will basicaly "sweat" off. You can peel it off in one piece or large pieces or if it's bubbled and shitty, a plastic scraper.
@PaulDaFox
Жыл бұрын
That's the next item to do on this coupe - remove the tint. I've never done it your way and have just applied heat to the tint and peeled it off. Usually I can get the tint and glue to come with it. Thanks for sharing - have a great week! 👊🦊🏁
Stance is looking really good! If you don't mind me asking, what are the wheel and tire sizes (front and back)?
@PaulDaFox

Thanks BrotherTom, it was great meeting and chatting with you!! The tires are fronts: 235/45/17 rears: 275/40/17 hope that helps!! 👊🏼🦊🏁
Your going lower and I want to go up a little bit. My town roads are just about the worst so if I raise it back up it'll be a more enjoyable experience.

Hey just so you know Brew21 has his car that he did the two tone on. It is called the Carbon Fox. So I think you shpuld get another name.

That sucks! and totally didn't put that together, but anyways I changed it to Project "Nite Fox" - Thanks for the FYI 👍👍
Very nice car. Can you tell me about the brakes? Rotor size?
@PaulDaFox

Thanks brother! The brakes are SN95 Cobra brakes on the front and rear with cross-drilled rotors. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching, have a great night!! 👊🏼🦊🏁
Paul, what is the wheel and tire spec on the notch, any fender rolling or rubbing? Thanks, great video.
@PaulDaFox
2 ай бұрын
The rear 1/4's have been rolled, so no rubbing whatsoever with the wheel setup as follows: front - 17x8 with 235/45/17 and rear 17x9 with 275/40/17. Hope that helps, thanks brother!!

Great video Paul ! Car is looking really good ! What adjustable coil set up is that ? Hope you have a great day brother
@PaulDaFox
Жыл бұрын
Thanks Darin...to be honest, I'm not sure what kind of adjustable coil setup that is. The fronts are true coilovers but that said the fox rides really nice and they adjust exactly like a coilover, so I'm leaving them. Have a great week!! 👊🦊🏁

They came on the car and to be honest, I never had these before but the fox does ride nice. They’re going to get changed just before I do the alignment. Thanks for watching, have a great night!! 👊🏼🦊🏁
Hey Paul da fox do you have the quads removed or do you have them on stalled and if not how is without them? I ask because my coupe roller project does not have them or the body brackets and I’m gonna do a ccw type wheel that’s 18x11😈👍🏻
@PaulDaFox
Жыл бұрын
Morning Chris, I don't have the quad shocks on but the bracket is still there which I will be removing. Honestly, I've never ran the quad shocks in any of my foxes as there's no noticeable difference without. Its one of the first items that I remove along with the dogbone on the rear diff. Besides, you would never squeeze in an 18x11 with the quad shocks so don't even worry about it. Hope that helps, thanks for watching and have a great day!! 👊🦊🏁

Ok everybody, anyone running 17" chrome ponies from LMR with 3" extended studs without out modifying the actual length to put center cap back on. I do appreciate any response. Looks like I will be running the 17" Ponies.
@jesusmunoz5184
11 ай бұрын
I have thought about a small billet spacer, but I'd rather have the studs cut down.
@PaulDaFox
11 ай бұрын
This is a common issue with the extended studs and the center caps. Really you have 2 choices - 1) add a spacer to eat up some of the stud or 2) cut down the stud just enough to clear the center cap. Hope that helps, thanks for watching, have a great brother!! 👊🦊🏁 Btw, let me know what you do!!
@PaulDaFox
11 ай бұрын
I would personally go the other way, add the spacer brother!! 💯
@jesusmunoz5184
11 ай бұрын
@@PaulDaFox I'd figured that would be the best option especially for track use with the Weld's I'm sure the tech guys might have an issue.
@PaulDaFox
11 ай бұрын
@@jesusmunoz5184 💯you can always remove the spacers easily for a different application but can't undo cutting down the studs. I ran a spacer on my turbo foxbody drag car for that exact reason and never had an issue.
