I think I’m gonna finally take your advice! I bought some BMR lowering springs for my foxbody in disguise and I have that 1980s rear rake! 🤦🏻‍♂️ gonna trim my rear springs to get that level aggressive stance. Love your content and the fact that you and your son share this hobby puts a smile on my face! My son Andrew loves mustangs too! Keep on keeping on Brother!!

Old school people that use to drag regularly since the Foxes came out realized if you cut 1 spring from the back it's the same performance springs from the rear that can handle 13's and 12's car speed in a 1/4 mile that they sell you in an Auto store. But it's Free. That's just what I heard from the O.G.'s don't take my word for it.

That stance is perfect. Brew2l your instructional videos are awesome. Definitely helps us to go out and do some of these mods ourselves. Keep it up! 👍

Just want to say thanks. You inspired me to try and paint my 86 gt. I bought a sander and a couple pop up gazebos. Going to practice on some other car parts before I commit on my car though lol.

You're the stance king! Use some welding blankets when cutting metal next nice a couch and rug please. I lost my whole shop to a fire when i was cutting some rockers out of a car.

What's up man...been away from the channel for a while now...lost my dad not too long ago and gave social media a break. This is the first time I've seen your fox in probably 4 or 5 months now. It's looking great. Keep up the good work. I went to the darkside and traded my 2017 5.0 for a 2019 c7 vette with a 7 speed manual...but I'm still looking to build a fox at some point. Figure being the last year of the front engine vettes offered with a manual, that maybe itll be worth a good bit one day...Anyway really enjoy this channel and your content. Keep it up

Thanks man, I know the feeling on losing a parent. I lost my mom early January. It’s tough but here’s the thing. This is our chance to live our life the way we were taught by them. I bought lowering springs when I first got started modifying my car and the more I look at it the lower I want it so I’ll be cutting the aftermarket springs

Learned something today , didn't know u could just pop out the strut from the top without disconnecting the bottom, make it easier for me to put in my bump stopper

Looks awesome with that stance right, which I thought it looked good before, but truly looks better when perfect

Love how the car sits and the stance you went for in the end of the video… Currently building a 1990 and I was wondering what wheel sizes your running and what offset?

I never have an easy time with front springs. I am always by myself it seems when it comes time…The easiest thing I found was to get a rope and tie the bottom of the spring to the lower control arm from behind. After you get a bolt in the strut pull rope out

That stance is killer

i was once making a makeshift throttle cable out of shoe lace on my fox to get home, long story short, throttle stuck open, did a full 360 around my odometer within 3 seconds, cant believe it didn't grenade the engine.

Playing catchup on watching the channel, been MIA foe a few.... but all is well in Elmore County. Carbon Fox looking better than ever, and always gotta showemhow to #StangBangin101 for the newbies

Stance is sick but man, that's a hard way to live. 👌 I would deeply fear every curb or level change.

Nice! I am going to use the MM front coil spring tool to put the stock V8 springs in my 91 (project Phoenix). Let us know how the thin egr spacer works with the AOD TV cable. I have had some reservations about getting one.

A torch is the easiest way. Lol. Kidding, don’t do it guys. I’ve done it though, but one of the springs actually broke in half over time, so don’t try it y’all.

Some of us would cut them on Terminator cars as well to accomplish the perfect look and be able to retain ISO's. We were like the black sheep but always asked "what springs are those as it sits perfect"!

You made that spring change look like a walk in the park. Will removing the stock height springs be that easy to drop out or will other parts need to be disassembled to make it work for them?

Looks killer!! What ended up being the total that you cut off the springs? If I remember correctly when you first cut the springs you took off 3/4 of the first coil.

I cut half a coil off of beans and I got lucky with it, turned out nice. Are you going to put some caltracs on the ghost? I put some on beans and they made it look tough, I believe that they will look badass on the ghost

Dam that cover looks absolutely sick as fuck . I was into hard for years with a few notchbacks . A major gearhead lol . Unfortunately I got cancer and it was all over . As you know if you want to play , you've gotta pay lol . Hopefully I'll be able to go back to work soon . I'm an Electrician .

I think I'll be doing the same to the lowering springs I just put on my 89. The front sits right above the tire and I want the same for the rear. Wish I could put pics on here to show the stance.

@89foxbody48 What size wheels are you running? The springs will settle a little bit after a while. Also, some people don't run the isolators. That gives you a little bit more drop. I ended up buying the maximum motorsport adjustable rear lower control arms, and that dialed it in perfectly.

@Lewis 18 inch saleens. They sit perfect in the front but the rear is a Lil higher. Maybe about an inch or so, I need to measure the height. I installed them about a month ago.

Find a CX Racing billet 75mm throttle body. Best I've seen for bolt on capabilities.

Wish I was close to ya, I would swing by and get ya to lower my Hatch. Always wanted it dropped around a inch to inch and a half.

I’ve had plenty of s10’s and they always sit lower on the driver side. I always cut the passenger spring more to level it. Makes it ride softer on that side, but worth it!👍🏻

How much should I cut off the ear? I did 1-1/2 all around, on my 91LX but it still a little too high, Is cutting two coils off altogether in the rear to much?

In the past on my other foxes I bought lowering springs but now everyone wants a arm and leg for them. So im going to cut them. Was wondering how much you recommend cutting off. They have some offset bushing for the rack if you need just a little bit of adjustment!

Andrew I got an f250 platinum I’ll sell you. It’s a 2013 lifted with 22’s and 38’s

1/4" on the spring, is 1/2" on the body!!!

Or you could just pull one bolt for the Lower ball joint and drop the control arm. How you ask? Skills lol
