We Found A Hidden Cave.

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

We had another great week with great weather! We found a cool old school cave the old timers used to use. We continue to drift cows around and get them ready to calve out. We are blessed to work in the country that we do

The GPS tracking collar is the new technology replacing the Bell Cow 😄 . Keep us updated on it and how it works out. It’s still Cowboying…just working smarter and not harder. Have a blessed week Sean

Such a beautiful video my Friend. Nothing more wholesome and down to earth than pushing cattle. That cave was definitely interesting. I bet years ago many a Indian say under there with a campfire. Very curious what those square boxes made of the stone were for. I love history! Thanks for the great show! Until next week, take care.

You live in such beautiful and interesting country. I wonder if there was a ranch in the area of the cave and trough many years ago. I wonder too if the water filled pot holes in the rock were made by Native American women grinding corn way back when. My imagination runs wild when I see places like this. Were the Utes in your area? Any other tribes there? I love the history of the west. Thanks for the videos!

Hi, yes there are Navajo and Ute tribes in this area. We live next to the Navajo Nation and the Southern Ute tribe. The trough we found had a brand on it, that dates back about 50 years to a family that ranched in this area. Thank you for watching, take care.

Jayden, I hope that you make it to the highway patrol. I will ask that you keep one thing in the forefront of your mind, honor your oath to the Constitution! I have family that have retired from law enforcement. Each of them honored their oaths. Thank you for showing all of that beautiful scenery. Have you guys ever used the GPS on your phone to drop a pin on the water holes that you find? The idea just popped into my mind as you looked for water sources.

Love your family oriented ranch videos! We are traveling in our LQ Horse Trailer with two horses from Arizona back to our home in Colorado. Is there a fairgrounds near Blanding where we could camp and put our horses in stalls for the one night?

the county fair grounds is in Monticello, which is 22 miles north of Blanding. They do allow people to camp there and they do have pens. Nothing is covered, so depending on the weather it can be a little snowy and muddy. So not the best set up, but doable. I don't believe there is a fee for staying there. Moab, which is 70 miles north of Blanding, has covered stalls and open pens, as well as an indoor arena that are open to the public.

I know this may sound crazy and please remember that i know nothing about ranching but my question is why dont you fence in areas so that you dont have to hunt your cows all the time? I love your videos and i also habe another question how do those holes appear in the rocks for water? Lightening maybe?
