I've been meaning to say this and haven't but every time I watch a new video I completely dig the new intro I usually skip intos but I have yet to even think about skipping it it's just bad ass the clips and music hit it off good and its not too long. You have ideas yet on fixing the ZF bellhousing?

Just came across your channel and thoroughly enjoy your content!! I live on the Oregon coast, and saw a post a couple weeks ago in a local bmw group looking for a clutch for a guy just trying to get back north home. Was that for you??

Are you still using the dished flywheel!? Wow. Spacing the pressure plate will stop it applying force.. thr thicker disc increases pressure on it.

I never liked the idea of that welded bellhousing, but then I'm a spoiled Toyota man with bolt-on bellhousing options for about 20 different motors (including the Volvo redblock).

Welded bellhousings have been a thing since the 80s at LEAST. Using good/normal machining practices it's quite easy to get it perfectly aligned, this is definitely a bit wonky...

@@dicksandballsnshit3856 No, it's genuinely simple machining. Of course any modicum of depth is going to be seen as "subjective" by people who don't do it, that's natural and fair. If your machinist isn't comfortable doing something like this find another guy, it's all done with basic milling tools and all you do is measure a bunch of times and make cuts once. There's a million videos on youtube if you don't believe me,the hardest part is fitting up the flywheel and clutch usually but the bell housing swap is ezpz for any machinist

@@johnbean2596 I mean just finding the absolute center of an intricately shaped bellhousing sounds challenging to me, so I think you might be operating within the subjective: "easy for people for whom these things are easy"

Surprised the 850 5 cylinder NA lost to the 4 pot 740 it had like nearly 45 percent more power and torque with an extra power stroke, was the 740 stripped out to be super light or something?
