Tan Salmon skin! I have a wallet that my Father carried for 20 years, and I carried it for another 10. The leather is still good, if a bit worn smooth in places. The lacing gave out eventually. I also have a check book that I have had for 19 years, no wear yet!

Hello Everyone! What an amazing trip! Thank you for sharing your adventures. The fish camps were incredible, especially the one off the cove. We have a 93 year old cottage, on almost 5 acres, we are renovating in Central Florida. The hurricanes and illnesses have put us behind. But we are progressing. It's great to be between the two coasts. By-the-way, a white/gray halibut purse would be so very chic! I know the'd sell. I'm willing to get in line! May God continue to bless you out of His gracious abundance!

There is no doubt that this was one of the more close to perfect Birkenshaw fishing trips. Am I right in assuming that Rose didn't even have one bout with sea sickness either? I'll bet she loved that. You'll have an abundance of fish for the winter and another great story to tell all of the coming grandchildren. You can correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like all that was missing on this trip was Sarah, Ethan, and Abigail. Sarah and Ethan don't make too many appearances in the Gridlessness Vlog. (almost as a rule) But what was so important that Abigail had to miss the trip? Is some intelligent/handsome young man working towards securing a Birkenshaw bride of his own? I mean what guy with a brain in his head wouldn't want to marry Abigail Birkenshaw and as an extra added bonus have all the poutine he can eat for life? Talk about a good decision. When I think about it I'm like Jeff. Each Birkenshaw sister is ONE OF my favorites. I just want you all to know that I'm not joking when I say that they're the coolest young women that the 21st century has to offer to the world. I truly admire this very special family unit. Coho are my second favorite fish to eat beside the best...yellow perch!

In the forest hammocks are the best because rock and logs are no longer an issue.

Your fishing has certainly improved and that was a beautiful campsite

Not true, thankfully there are VERY few things still left, which are worth buying, a Swiss Army Knife is the first thing comes to mind, or a pristine copy of the LP "Abbey Road".
