I absolutely adore this lady. Full of knowledge common sense and wisdom. I was brought up on a vegetable garden for 7 years. My father was a brilliant gardener. We grew mainly tomatoes fir local market and I are lots and lots of them. Tomatoes can only be hand picked. I was the little 8 year old who helped my mother sort the tomatoes and pack into wooden boxes. So proud of my father. It was backbreaking work but my father's legacy of teaching me to grow vegetables was a privilege and an honour. I could listen to Dr Vandana Shiva for hours. And she is so right with a passion about growing our food in a sustainable manner. There isn't much I disagree at all. Hope we have more people like Dr Vandana Shiva. I am doing my best to grow my own food no matter how small. God bless.

A Voice in the Wilderness but a very powerful voice. Thank you Madam for the human race needs not arms and bombs but food, water and their own human dignity to exist and Co- exist. I pray that your voice will be heard Loud and Clear. You truly speak for Planet Earth and the people who live and love who need restoration and regeneration in every aspect of life. A Voice which has strived to give A Voice to the Voiceless. May God Bless you and Keep you and May His Face Shine Upon you and give you and your people That Peace we are all hungering for.

I love gardening, I love to dig in dirt, plant seeds and watch them grow. I am 68 in a month and every time I see little plants come up it still makes me so happy. I have been gardening since I was a child with my mother, my grandfather and my uncle who influenced me to enjoy the Mother earth. Seeds are precious to me. I will save my own seeds now, I buy local organic seeds, but saving my own seeds is a much better idea. i don't know why i didn't think of it myself. Thank you for sharing. I believe in eating good food, taking care of Mother earth, zero waste, being at peace with the Creator and being thankful for being. I am really enjoying the new interest in gardening that this pandemic has brought out in people. I think people will be kinder to each other, because gardening has a way of making you calm and connected to the earth. Everyone needs that...

Thank you! Just the part on physical distancing, NOT social distancing is something I've been saying, and something no one else has picked up on. A sane and intelligent woman. I honestly believe she is the voice of the Earth. I'm so excited to see this transformation from cynicism and greed, to one of cooperation and love. I believe that all of the horrors and suffering played the part of waking us. Nothing was a waste, even though it was horrible. Good comes from all.

Of all the inequities in this world, she is a positive force that balances life. Gardening is addictive once you start even if you know little, but you learn fast as it's encoded in our genes to take care of the earth. It's the most natural and beautiful act, it's how we give back a modicum to the planet that gives us so much more. It's a spiritual connection with the Earth, & gardening amplifies it. She is an amazing 'seed' and I am grateful that the world will be a better place because of people like her. Interesting podcast, thank you.

I have utiliged some of my lock down period of covid-19 to take care of my home garden with concept of return back . Few centuties back every village in India used to have common bio- diverse area. The residents of that community were taking care of that by sustainable methods. Like collecting only fodder, fruits, berries, herbs and leaves. Leaves for composting in thier fields. During thec period of colonisation and after that importance of common grooves not realised and turned that patch of land also in to fields. The modern agriculture taught us only take and use synthetics inputs for plant growing and protection. Thus leading to fake food

Anybody out there reading these comments please take note because what this wonderful lady is trying to get the world to do is grow your own food individually, like Great Britain and other countries did during the Second World War we had a land army and they were women who kept the men at war and people at home fed by farming the land as a huge garden and it really worked and it made a difference and we need to go back there and start doing this and we are all responsible and we can all do this and many people will feel better in themselves if they go out and start doing this please you know it’s easy to grow potatoes and herbs and things, and the advice it’s given here how to save seeds Is the best in the world because it’s been done from the heart not from greed and wanton destruction because there are corporations that are doing that and individuals who have more money than sense and think that they are entitled to the seeds that have always been free on this planet because Gaia never charged anybody for seeds, our planet just provided them and the water and the soil are both at risk at the moment by big corporations who are trying to buy all the land in the water up we need to realise that the pandemic was showing us a lot of problems that need sorting out and these are two immediate things that we can start putting right in our own backyards, and our countryside please follow the steps that you’re given here and it will bring you a lot of pleasure and save the planet at the same time and when they knock on about climate change you know you really are doing your bit especially if we remember to dispose of all rubbish properly at the same time and that is down to common sense an independent individual people treating this space as they put their body, with great care tender loving care because they know if they don’t they’re gonna have problems, we can all do our bit let’s start here today and pass this wonderful message on to everybody we can and add to the convoys visit to Canada to bring peace and harmony to the world this is another way that we can do that and support ourselves and the planet. This lady is not about the money she’s about actually making sure every child on this planet is fed , and it’s about us and how we think of each other are family or friends or neighbours are countries or cultures which they’ve been trying to destroy in all of us by manipulation and using TV programmes 24/7 to manipulate people and send subliminal messages on what you need to have on a daily basis and making you believe that you really need this stuff but nine times out of 10 you don’t need all the things that they showing you, what you do need is a warm loving home with plenty to eat and drink and keep your family safe and happy because they’re warm the dry and their belly’s are full . Anything after that is a bonus I think about it really seriously think what you need first in your home and at the end of the day especially when you have not just yourself to look after sending lots of love out there and hope and faith in spirit and not just religious things they are every part of what we do every day if we didn’t believe in ourselves, and we didn’t believe in individuals and the trees will replenish themselves and apple trees fruit trees of all kinds, before Man Knew how to garden the plants in the trees were doing that job anyway and we have billionaires that want to own that as well as everything else we never have enough, I don’t want to make this political but I do want you to see what’s at stake because there is a situation here and it’s not just climate change as they will have you believe it’s manipulation and greed and we have an opportunity right now to make amazing difference each and everyone of you if you don’t think you’re good at anything I bet you I can find something that is good about every individual in this planet and I know you can too so let’s get started and start having loving gardens where it’s not only beautiful but it’s abstaining feeds your family and your friends it’s really a must is very important please get this message out there and even if you think you’ve got no way to go anything vertical gardens there’s window boxes there’s amazing things out there that you can do to help and help yourself more than anything is help each and everyone of you out there to make your life with you I having a belly full of food warm place to sleep and a roof over your head and an amazing planet that needs our love as well as each other and it doesn’t matter what culture , nationality race that you are we all belong to each other because under the skin everyone the same and they’ve been trying to tell you that we’re not using racism and learn behaviour yes there is a thing called learnt behaviour that does a lot of damage out there and manipulation by playing with words to convince you that we are in a very bad situation we are in a situation that they are manipulating you with, but if we respect each other in everything that we have we can take back that power and our responsibility for each other and for ourselves and start showing the tender loving care that’s needed on this planet because she is amazing and so are you and that’s what they’re not telling you they are telling you all kinds of crap you to stay and be asleep to the television for 20:47 hours a day, not only that they are making cyber dummies of your children manipulating them on these games and making you feel that the television is the new babysitter, nobody can babysit better than a parent you need to know that and they’ve been using the television programmes on smart phones tablets you name it computers now it doesn’t matter where you go there’s a camera or a listening device and they’re virtually saying that we’ve got you because we can babysit your babies and your little ones because we can keep them entertained 24 seven and I don’t know about you but I don’t want my children to grow up that way where they don’t have a question they don’t know what it’s like to go for a walk to go out and play and to enjoy where they get their food from and for them to pick apples and pears strawberries peas carrots and not just see them in the shop we can make a change and we have that moment now please help spread this word and look after the soil and the seeds and the water and it will look after us sending you lots of love and remember believing and having faith is trusting yourself and believing in yourself just as you would’ve God if you believe in a God or a deity that speaks to you because you believe that they are good and they will help you in times of struggle please think about this we have a lot to give each other and let’s start here and get the videos out there that mean a lot at this moment in time because it’s doctor here she is amazing and she’s not doing it for money or anything she’s doing it because it needs to be done for each and everyone of us and our children and this beautiful planet let’s show them what TLC really means and that we’ve got each other’s back and it doesn’t matter where you come from because I believe every man woman and child on this planet wants a better planet a better world well we can start here and make a difference just like the truckers are trying to win Canada and the protests all over the world and those that agitate in those protests to harm other You need to be careful of them because they might belong to that minority who is not interested in your welfare or our welfare, stay well be happy spread the love and do it through food like we normally do at home when we give someone a nice dinner and a warm dry and safe namaste🌏😇😇😇🤝🤝🤝🤝🌏🙏🏻🌏👊🏻✊🏻💞💞🌷👇🏿👆✋🏻🤟🏽🖖🏿🤚🏻👋🏼🖐🌈💫🤝🤝🤝🤝🌏🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌻🌷🌞

I love how she stated that .. THE EARTH IS DOING YOU THE FAVOR! We humans are part of this world and should act as one. Imagine if every body part wanted to be independent from each other? The brain says, "I am the most important part around here." Then your stomach says, "NO! I AM!" Then the kidneys, the skin, the hair, nails, etc... you would die instantly on the spot over this idea of severe independence mentality. You're not fully independent, regardless what Political Sciences had taught you. You are dependent of someone. You are dependent of the plants to give you consumable food, water and air to breath. How are you independent? There is such a misconception on the idea of freedom and independence. That is what ultimately killing this planet... the arrogant illusion that you, I and us as a species think we are separate, thus independent from ourselves, nature and the world as a whole. We are going to be the ONLY species on this planet who went extinct due to sheer stupidity of arrogant narcissistic illusion of "liberty", "freedom", and "independent." I am glad Dr.Shiva has talked about this in her own way to that the average person can understand. Thank you Dr.Shiva, may you have many more years of fighting against sheer stupidity and arrogance. 🥰😍😘💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

He who fed the multitude will feed his people. That is why he has sent us a woman - true to roots to identify the real reason for global hunger. She says so readily that the wars are made out to based on religion - but it is for their survival. She is ready to take on the corporations of the world and wage a lone woman war. Let us stand by her and show the world that we are seekers of the light, truth and justice!

I also have a question... the west is considering animal farming as a "regenerative" form of agriculture? is this correct in principle? we have regenerative -organic farming methods of cattle and pork and poultry here in America... how do you all feel about this practice as Hindi/vegetarians ?

So what's the medicine for "that disease" (mentioned @ 29:55), which tends to be at their very NATURES? How can their energies and needs be better/appropriately transformed? And would even ATTEMPTING to solve this problem be akin to.. I dunno, rechannelizing a carnivorus animal to become all peaceful and vegetarian? Also, @ 35 minutes, regarding etymology of "millets" - ?as from MILLions (re seed ratio)?.. hmm, i would imagine it came from the answer to WHAT TO DO with that grain that is not really edible for us raw... one solution, cook it after you powder it (or "mill it"), you know? and for the gene-yes', of course, the reciprocal seed ratio, and the name would be.....

We are one human race homo sapiens the wise one! the difference in skin tone, is due to concentration of melanin from the environment we originate in the world and is due to the need to protect us from strong sunlight. We need the sunlight for vitamin D3 a hormone which gives us healthy body and brain function.
