Back in 97 I had a green 68 short bed c10 with a 327 double hump heads , and traded it to a Datsun B210…. Stupid!! If we only knew then ..

I remember your “That Dude in Blue” episode. Was cool to see such a young guy show Dave Paterson HOW to drive the truck!

TDI Willys on a TJ frame??

Rustomod dude,my buddy had a 1967 chevy c10,but his brother wreacked his 1971 chevelle that had a 350/270 hp with m21 rock crusher 4 speed,373 rear end,my buddy put the chevelles drive train his 67 chevy truck,it was crazy,no exaust ran it with open headers,lol

Hey man, been looking for info like this for a while. Got a K10 pickup in my garage and now I have the build series to help me out. Can’t wait to have mine ripping like yours. My will stay more 4WD oriented gonna try and find a z71 Tahoe to throw underneath. Got a subscribe from me.

67 c10s had smaller rear window

I’ve done a lot of Ls swaps but I’m new to AWD and 4wd stuff. How did you wire up the 241c transfer case? Does it require a speed sensor? I’ve been putting together the exact same parts list you are using but that’s the pet I’m not sure of. I see a lot of people that can’t shift out of first because of speed sensor issues.

On the 4l80 the the speed sensor in the transmission and the 241c are the same sensor just moved to the transfer case. I just had to extend the harness on my terminator x to reach it

epic build. is that registered as a c10 or escalade?

How did you get your brake booster to mount up? Hydroboost?

I just used a c10 regular power booster to the Escalade lines

@Rustomod sweet! I ordered a leeds complete disc/disc setup. I was trying to use original mater with other stuff adapted.. turned out to not be worth it over just buying a complete setup. Thanks!

I’d like to do this to a truck like this someday. Are there any other truck body’s I could use to sort of replicate this build? (Something newer than the 68’)

@@TamarrionMartinez yes but the obs frames are very close to the Escalade frame so at that point I would just swap the transfer case from a 4x4 1500 to a awd case and you would basically have it. Powernation did that swap.
