You know how there is always one teenager on your street that loves cars and can fix them up like it's nothing? this dude has been my one of my closest friend for nearly fifty years and every car that he's had has been a project and always the same outcome, AWESOME!

as a chevy guy, at first I wasn’t thrilled going into this but I really like the story and the way he combined 2 of his favorite brands together. and who the hell doesn’t love that massive whine from the blower? ride on!

boy if that isn't a dream daily driver, than i don't know what is! its a simple yet beautiful built. i can only imagine what a thrill and joy it must be to drive that thing to work every day. great work finding gems like these that would make purists crap their pants. stay safe!!

These builds are my favorite! There is nothing better than a guy dreaming up and putting together the exact vehicle he saw in his mind. Creativity and outside the box thinking keep these classics updated, modern, and relevant.

Now that thing is baddass. Love how it looks kind of original but with some unique power 👌🏽👌🏽

I love that truck. I have a 71 Roadrunner and I want to put a hellcat engine in it. I am a big fan of the C10’s as well and this one has a perfect stance. Nicely done

As a certified Mopar guy growing up in a Dodge/Chrysler family and having worked as a marketing representative for Chevrolet Performance for 5 years touring all over the country driving a semi decked out with performance parts/engines/cars....this truck really speaks to me. Love the story and I can totally relate, well done!

I know this is only one man's opinion, but I really don't mind a truck being taken to the limits of the owner's imagination. The question that comes to my mine, after mucho years of trucks of which most were just a bit more sedate, what is the weight distribution? I know it's fast as hell on the boulevard but how is it balanced? Hot pickups from my high school years (mid-1960's) could go like hell until that fool up front tried to either stop or turn and then it all turned brown and sticky!!!!! Nowadays an aware builder can push the power plant back into the firewall and move as much weight toward the rear as possible but a C10 isn't very long so your options are limited. ...another excellent video, Shawn. Thanks!!

Mine is a 2000 7.3 F250 Power Stroke so the engine isn't ever going to be changed but there are a whole list of "little things" you can do that add up to a pretty nice truck. Money's limited but the imagination just keeps on tickin'!!

I just love the way that sounds! Wheels are also an awesome choice. Wicked C10.

Hellcat C10...Awesome! I have a 1984 s10 blazer 2wd, Engine built by "Redline performance" in maine, 408ci stroker sbc, 2.02 cast iron heads, Holley 650cfm 4 barrel carburetor, headers, dual stainless steel exhaust, Monster 200r4 transmission, B&M Mega shifter, 60's in the back, skinnies in the front on C3 corvette rims. Traction bars, Tachometer on floor, Digital dash, I call it..."Naughty kitty."

😅 Mopar is basically Chevy although their fanboys would shoot themselves before the admit it, chevy stole all their designs. The BBC is based off the Hemi and the LS a Ford Cleveland crossed with a Hemi. 🤷🤷

Someone in my area did that back in 80s or 90s. He did it cause he hated the chevy engine but loved the c10 so he dropped his old race engine that was in roadrunner in the truck

I am a purist, and I had a 1970 C 10 nothing special, 350 bored out 30 over except I had a Moser rear end. Everyday driver about 425 HP and 389 to the rear end. But that is a bad fucking truck, very nice

One of the most powerful engines made by an American company in what is hands down the most beautiful trucks made by an American company. Heaven is possible

I swapped a 455 Big Block Buick and Turbo 400 into a 83 Chevy Truck and the old timers I worked with at the Buick dealership I worked at for 8 years really dug it!!

Shawn, love the awesome blower whine when Jody stomps on it. Too bad this same C10 wasn't made in assembly line fashion by a custom truck shop.
