Finding that much LGA1150 goodness is lucky. The G3258 anniversary Pentium and i7-5775C were the only times Intel were thinking outside the box at all during the dark decade of them rehashing the same 4core rubbish over and over and they were both LGA1150. Haswell also fixed the hyperthreading bug that Sandy and Ivy bridge had where no longer the i5 would beat the i7 in certain workloads and games so it was the first time an i7 was the best buy. This all makes LGA1150 the hardest motherboards to track down.

Would you overclock i7 4770k on that H81 mobo you mentioned? There e are not much phases there, iirc there are 3 chokes...no heatsinks on vrms...so just from your perspective of much more experienced builder, will you OC or you'll leave it stock? Doesn't really matter if it's i74770k or i5 4690k...or does it? I mean they are not 200W+ cpus so it should be fine, maybe? Another thing, just an observation, I always liked those M variants of mobos with 4 slots for ram. 2 was good but 4 was squeezing a year or two more of usage just because of ram capacity

The used part market is hot right now. But I’ve noticed it’s harder to sell the used PCs at a reasonable price. Same in aus?
@ultragrimx8993
Жыл бұрын
Used parts will always be easier to sell because if something happens its just that one part which you got for cheap. Buying whole used rigs on the other hand has to many chances for the buyer to get burnt. If the seller is small time and doesnt have any reputation for selling top tier long lasting pc's then the price will be barely worth it.
@lateralus6512

Here in New Zealand, on TradeMe, some used PC parts sell really well individually, but not as whole systems. So it's better to buy bulk deals and sell the valuable parts off separately.

It's a good card in that price range. Still using one, 12 gb model.
Defs the X99 one, still a real neat platform to this day!
Great deals, and there's still profit in it for the sellers

The X99 deal was my fav
wow that x99 board was a bargain
X99 Mobo+ CPU was a really good deal.
Is this price in USD dollar or Taiwan dollar?
Tiny 10 23h1 x64 (NTDev) - vs - Micro Win 10 LTSC (Ted T361) ? Love your optimization videos but it's a lot of work to get it done right.
The used part market is hot right now. But I’ve noticed it’s harder to sell the used PCs at a reasonable price. Same in aus?

Used parts will always be easier to sell because if something happens its just that one part which you got for cheap. Buying whole used rigs on the other hand has to many chances for the buyer to get burnt. If the seller is small time and doesnt have any reputation for selling top tier long lasting pc's then the price will be barely worth it.

Here in New Zealand, on TradeMe, some used PC parts sell really well individually, but not as whole systems. So it's better to buy bulk deals and sell the valuable parts off separately.
I think that a lot of people using desktop computers generally hold on to them for a longer than laptop users. I could be wrong on that.
Oh, Bryan,you didn't got my tweet, about some retro hardware??? Bummer.
Brian, please come back to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). You would be surprised by the flood of used GPU here ATM. Also, there are a lot of Intel chipset 115x combos here as people are dumping their old DDR3 system to upgrade to DDR4 and DDR5.
Just scored a z97 yesterday for around 20 bucks.
I'd wash them with detergent and water, then rinse with distilled water and dry it thoroughly. The compressor works reasonably well, but doesn't get the grime. Ion water is better than Pocari Sweat if you can get hold of it. :) That is hella cheap though.

Love your videos man. Just don’t fully understand your whole flip process. I want to be doing this myself. Any suggestions would be welcomed from you. I’m in the US.
Local tip. Wear t-shirt or tank top under shirts in summer.
