These I3 and I5 office machines often have 15khz capable GPUs in them and paired with a nice CRT you are half way towards a thousand dollar arcade cabinet running groovyarcade or batocera. Very useful machines and will be forever as arcade games are stuck in time.

See if they can load the entire pallet, box all, into your van and just drive home, unload and bring the box and pallet back. I think that would save you a lot of time. Another option would be to give him containers you can pick up by hand, for him to fill with different parts, separating the parts as they go. What a great business though. I guess the company in Dubai takes these computers and sells them all across Africa and the Middle East.

I'd love to have a job at a place like this. I love refurbishing computers! I have friends in the video game developer business. One thing for sure, if they say they have a load of hardware to 'unload', you drop everything and say you'll be there TODAY. Lol. I remember grabbing the largest Rubbermaid bin they probably make to go pick it up, might as well been a concrete wall block. I opened it to figure out why is was so impossibly movable... over 100 4TB WD black drives. The next bin was just over 30 GTX 970s... it went on and on. Soooo much fun.

You should try weighing the batch of circuit boards as it is (without taking off the steel and everything). Then weigh it after your done. Do this on 3 or 4 separate trips and get an average of the difference and in the future you might be able to just weigh it at first and then you'll know what your clean boards would end up weighing on average!

The prices are good now but I’m trying to push me self to get some more and I can rent a loader truck and take all in one load I was just checking my ram stick the day after Christmas and weight out everything and I had 197 lbs of 8gb stick 205of the smaller size 4-2 gb but that’s just on ram stick alone and most of mother boards are i5 and higher and higher grade boards ! I’ll send you pictures soon their no recording on site ! But I do my best to keep everything secured ! Great video in the long run it all pays off sometimes we have to wait for the right time prices go up and they go down !

The market does seem to have fallen out somewhat for laptops. These days you can pick up a an i5 laptop in pretty good condition (fulling working) for like $150-200. PC desktops are slightly different, the market on those seems to have changed enormously. The biggest impact now for those things is the gpu. It has become the primary component of any pc over everything else. Not just because of Covid and supply shortages, also the bit/crypto mining market has swallowed up all the cards too. This year you could pay potentially upto $3000 for a high end gpu if you want serious gaming. It seems to be far cheaper to buy a gaming laptop now than a gaming pc spec wise. Bit crazy, as it use to be the other way round. These are just my observations and based on where I live in the uk. Second hand prices may also differ wildly depending on where you are based.

I would weigh the van & give him low grade wire price for it all, If you factor labor at $15 to 20 hour that's why your getting that stuff from him, you got around 1000 kg of scrap metals

A word of advice, don't throw-stack any equipment that is intended for reuse like it's a log. All those dells have HDDs in them that can get severely physically damaged, reduce computer value and require additional work for refurbisher to replace it. Wish I can get my hands on some of that equipment for reuse, but a small country has naturally low level of e-waste and high level of reuse.

great that it can be reused but not simply thrown away, at the same time a good deal for ecology and the protection of nature and the environment because in certain countries it ends up in circuits that are not followed, where it comes from really and how this computer waste is processed when it is not possible for reasons of age to be reconditioned or when we do not want it to be reused by the donors of this material
