Hi arnold how do you know which sellers are safe in joonggonara
I always find your ways of finding computer parts extremely interesting. This truly is my cup of tea Mr. Tech Yes City.
21:37 - Korean version of tech Yes lovin?...
Thanks for letting us tag along ✌️ love watching the vlogs

My wife is Korean and I never knew there is such gold there on used PC parts! Thanks The Yes Man! Well looks like the Mrs is going to have fun translating for me next time we go back to Korea lol
13:32 When you have an addiction to watching used deals get bought via the YES Man!

Haha honestly I haven't slept in over 30 hours because I've been on a research & deals searching grind. But I wanted to thank you Brian! As of the last few days, I've been extremely motivated to build my first couple "built to sell" gaming PCs. I don't have a ton of deals in my area in Florida USA but there's been a few local & ebay deals I HAD to hop on! Always loving the Tech YES content, your energy is awesome & best of luck on your next Parts Hunt!

Man, I am so thankful to you for the absolute kick ass effort you put into your channel and your videos. I just love these trips you take, my wife is from Seoul and I have to say, they are one of the oldest cultures on the planet. I truly love the Korean people and I am a huge fan of your channel.
That one guy snotting his face off at 5:30 😂😂 Some great deals there ❤ you seriously have me addicted to used price performance. Loving those GTX 1060's. Quality Gravis cards!

The Yes Man brings it again! Always on point with the price to performance magic. Love it!
Thanks for taking us along this Journey B 💪🏾
My Experience in tech malls, and a real time saver, the better deals are found on the higher floors furthermost away from the entrances, lift / elevator areas. These stores pay less rent and have less customers, you can work deals there more readily. I'd start there every time! Especially on time constraint visits. Can i submit a suggestion that you consider doing a video, perhaps 1/2 yearly on parts you'd avoid and combinations of hardware that you've discovered that for what ever reason just didnt work or perform as expected. Keep the great vids coming!
Dem Gravis cards Boi ! Loved this video, especially the Starcraft tournament ending, so cool that guy won the prize pool.
Damn Brian, I been loving this series on Asian Used parts hunts. I personally shop the hardoffs for retro console games, but I am also a big DIY PC guy. Your video inspired me to try hunting some used parts performance in Akihabara. I saw the sign of one my favorite retro shops in the background (SuperPotato). I kinda wasn't surprised how bad the deals were in those hardoffs cause they tend to over-price stuff that's fairly new to not so new, especially in the city. Never been to Korea, but now this video has me thinking twice about wanting to go there! Oh and I would tend to agree that you do have a problem buying used parts, but I think I'm infected with the same disease! lol.

Great vid. The best deal, in my opinion, was seeing the competitive gamer using a mouse from 2008. That utterly floored me.
One of the best Tech Yes episodes!! ✊👍👍
Love your videos mate, the RX470 deals was a cracker. I think the main advantage of the 6gig in the 1060 isn’t speed (although sometimes it makes a difference) it is more the ability to max out setting in dx12 at 1080p. In games like SOTTR you simply cannot do that on 3 gb. Also, my ocd makes me point out that 12/800 is about 1.5%, not 0.125% :)
Love this videos, man!!
I'm going back to korea in a few months time. I guess I'd be visiting this place again! Hope I get amazing deals like yours.
Love your videos Brian. The world wide price to performance used parts hunts ar great. By the way I believe I just got a fantastic deal in the U.K. I just picked up a used MSI GTX 970 Gaming (cough) 4G for £45 ($55. 21 or AUD 82.42). It's to go with an Intel 4790 and an upgrade from a R9 270X.
Hey Brian. The weird Double Tower cooler is made by Prolimatech, and is called Genesis. From what i‘ve heard its quite a beast
Instant like, cause the YES man never dissapoints 🔥
Awesome parts hunt!!
whew, after the japan trips great to see you pop over to Korea.
Man I really enjoy watching these videos. 🤩
I loved Seeing the YES Citizens everything about this video OMG SOO AMAZING
Awesome content, as always.
Happy to see you buying some used parts in Korea. Hope you enjoyed it
Seems like you're having too much fun Brian. Happy for you.
Awesome vid. I was wondering if you had any problems with the parts you got, especially the hard drives I suppose everything worked well.
What a legend at 5:31 xD
That cooler you found reminds me of the Cooler Master V10 that has a similar feature (an extra fan/shroud over the RAM DIMMs to cool them). I guess it makes sense given the trend of putting heat syncs on all that 'gaming'/high-end RAM sticks these days (ever since the days of RDRAM/Rambus and DDR2 basically, though most RAM sticks don't actually need it; if they did then they'd ensure active cooling for water cooled rigs etc. where there might not be any airflow over the RAM modules, but they don't with the exception of a very small number in the past that included things like water coolers and extra fan shrouds for the RAM sticks like the fan modules Corsair was including with some of their RAM years ago).
You should build a computer with all the parts that you found around the world! I love your content man keep on the good work!
Heck yeah! New Video!
Late to the party, but: 13:17 Bryan, we all have a problem. We are all Tech YES Citizens! A problem to be proud of!
23:57 TECH YES LOVING! 😍
Yessss, you made it to Seoul!! Korea represent!!!
man love your obsession for used pc parts, we need to get you into rehab dude haha!
You killed it in Korea, those 1060’s will still sell well in a decent build
I also went there last year. And same, I went there on a sunday. Most of the stores were closed. I ended up just eating at a 7-11 and went on my way. 😂
excellent video!
You've even got a holder there where you can put things like your hard drive... That was nice Bryan xD
I think if you can you should go back to South Korea and do some more part hunting, very fun to see. Thanks for sharing. :)
And again. I Love this! I made a superb deal a few days ago too. I got a MSI GTX 1060 3GB in perfect condition for only 70€ from a local deal. Really nice.
Thank you for visiting Yongsan, Korea. I'm proud of being a small tech youtuber in Korea, but I think there are a lot of regrets. Even though I want to buy parts cheaply on Amazon, I think it's best to buy in Korea because of the a / s.
wow your pc parts hunting skill is really good despite some parts are overpriced. i'm also planning to go to yongsan to hunt pc parts.
i would have taken the whole box of keyboards too, that red looks so nice and bright after some clean up, but that 144hz monitor looked mint
the korean guy is very fluent Englsh. Nice. thank you for helping the tech yes man.
Your experience sounds similar to my trip there 3 years ago.

I used same Logitech G9x until last year too (still working). It's just without the swappable outer shell, makes it lighter. But he needs to have small hands to be able to use it like that. I used it with the narrow shell in FPS and even that was too small for long use.
I have an old logitech G9 and it just made me think, a video on used mice with a really good reputation from yester year and see how they compair would be awesome, could even get rocket jump ninja in to help
youre livin the dream my man kept it up
22:18 woah those are some beefy heatpipes
Ah yes, we gotta love the deals for gravis cards :))
I spent a year in Korea back in 04-05. They are way ahead of the US in consumer electronics. There are tunnels that are under Seoul that have electronics markets in them.
G'day Brian, Good to hear you really Enjoyed you Trip, especially getting time with your little man in Japan, I'm sure John & Arnold had an Awesome time TechYes Hunting with you as well, I also I had I good time Hunting while you were away, I got 4x RX480 8GB from the GC (grabbed them quick while you weren't home 😁) off GumTree, they weren't super cheap but for 🍍🍍🍊🍊 (2 pineapples+ 2 Tangerines) Each they definitely beat NSW prices around 🍍🍍🍍🍍 (4-5 pinapples) , I also picket up a Dell Precission T1650 with i7-3770, 16GB RAM & 2 x 500 GB H/D for $90 at Dapto NSW (20min from home), should go nice with one of the RX480

The mechanical keyboard is the most favourite part of all the deals for me . The price was just beyond the sweetest of dreams .
I miss Korea so much. Such a cool place, amazing people, rich culture and history. To top it all, they really seem to love tech!
5:30 sneeze spit
damnn. 30+ min of tech yes hustle
Those keyboards ARE an awesome deal... some hard to pass up deals out there.
Can’t wait to see the r9-280x in a build. I love Tahiti cards.
Is that a cat or a dog? In the background at @18:25? Also ice deal hunting 👌
I got a R9 280X for $25 in summer of 2017 It had no fand or fan shroud so I hit glued the fans and shroud from a accelero cooler works great topping out at 73C
I'm dying to go to South Korea! I feel like they are my people! They love tech and starcraft! I would definitely have to try to do some parts hustling and see a GSL match!
29:29 "Who shot the couch!?" - Chris Farley
Mate that must of been hard walking away from deals because of bag/weight limitations. I tend to put all the super heavy stuff in my carry on bag, that never seems to get weighed!
You nailed that video title
The E Market in Seoul is absolutely amazing. Spent a year in Korea partying my ass off.
A nice redditor pointed me to this video bc I'm a laptop gamer who wants to step into proper pc gaming, and I'm going to study abroad in korea! This video was really helpful, maybe I can snag some parts with me for building a pc in the States
A shopping method I used in Korea. Keep USD in one pocket & WON in the other. Being able to pull out only a single type of currency in front of a seller somehow made it easier for me to barter. Merchants seemed to value USD differently.
I grabbed 2 EVGA GTX 1080's for $200 each yesterday on Craigslist. (both still under warranty). Bought 2 1tb m.2 SSD's for $60 each and 2 650w EVGA PSU's for $40 each on Amazon's 20% off warehouse sale. Going to pick up 2 sets of Ryzen 5 3600 + $30 off mobo + case at MicroCenter and get some high performance flips going. The search never ends!
i hope someday i ll be able to visit both japan and s.korea, not for the tech but for their culture that fascinates me
Next time you go to south Korea you need to bring like 5 extra large suitcases with you.

a lot of these used korean parts are actually being shipped off over to the philippines. there's a huge market for used parts here in the philippines. a lot of parts from japan come in to the country too. 600watt power supplies sell here for 12 dollars, 500watt ones go for 10 bucks. rx470s for around 80usd, rx570 for around 90 to 100usd. mostly from korea or japan.

Same goes for indonesia, but not that much ppl knew. Japan imports are kinda uncommon tho, last time I saw optiplex with c2d used by photocopy and pc rent services with dell japan support webpage. The one that's very common is Korean and Singaporean imports (especially with SG, it's just 30 minutes from Batam. Shipping outside of Batam is awful tho.)
I have a bunch of used 1070's that I mined with back in 2017, cards are immaculate, original boxes, were run at 80% power profiles, never OC'd, room had aircon with dust filters, this guy should give me a call I'll sell them in bulk cheaper than any of these korean stores but would need return ticket to UK lol
I found the gtx 960 as a sweet spot for me. I picked up 3 of these this year for 40 usd each. The best deals i got were rx 470 for 40 usd and traded a 120gb ssd '20 bucks' for a 1050ti.
