We are 72 years old and probably would never afford a suite of that luxury and beauty. We have watched every stage of your renovation so I am emotionally in love with every room. I can't choose a favourite. You have all worked so hard, it's wonderful achievement. You should be so proud. Please don't every stop videoing they are my daily treat when all the tea things are washed up and put away.

Like before when you showed us the suite where you're staying, I Can only applaud your great ideas and talents and vision to be able to reach such a high quality and standard and feelings of content to go through a person's mind while watching your videos. One thing I'd suggest, if you haven't got them is coasters for under glasses...wouldn't want to damage the furniture. Looks fab. Oh to have a stay there. Dreams are free.😁 ❤❤❤

Dear Lalacelle family! Myself and my partner have been following your progress towards fulfilling your dream for several months. Though now as I'm thinking about it... The progress is part of the dream! I love diy myself, I love the sentimental value of bringing old pieces back to life or giving forgotten pieces of memories a whole new look. I am in awe of you guys, your passion, your positive attitude, the warmth that radiates out of all of you! Your skills and excitement to make things happen! When I'm watching you videos I can nearly smell the wood and paint, I can nearly feel the texture with my finger tips. I imagine a morning walk around the grounds of the chateau, sunlight peeking through the branches, smelling the flowers, looking at the old trees wondering what they witnessed. I am always excited to see new pieces of the chateau and it always brings the nostalgic feeling, the wonder of what has been and the cheer of you giving it another go. Seeing you, Ash, today in this video warmed up my heart. Because you are just buzzing with excitement about everything, every tiny piece of the finish, as you should, the detail, the work, the research you guys did... 400 looks amazing, I could walk around it for hours admiring what you've done. I can't wait to see 401 done! But the cosiness of your top floor nest... That's just amazing and I wish you All the best, I hope the memories you'll create there will last through generations and that you'll document them. I could probably write a book here 😅 I wish I can someday come over to France to see it all for myself, touch the walls and listen to what they have to say. My favorite spot in the 400 Suite would be the Salon. I can imagine entering the suite into the foyer, leaving shoes and a few layers of clothes behind. Perhaps make coffee or pour a glass of wine. Then I would move into the Salon with my glass where a fire would be burning. Then maybe sit and write postcards, look at mail, have a good look at whatever things I might have bought, sip the wine or coffee and just melt with relaxation into the room. But my real favorite rooms are the beautiful 3rd floor Apartment you have made for yourselves. That is where the true heart of your home is. The love and joy that you two share with each other is tangible and moving. After all the shopping, sanding, painting, cutting, making etc. is over you both have those lovely rooms where you can just be together with each other. 15+ years together - I wish you another 50.

The 400 suite is breathtaking! Every detail is perfection! Every minute of the hard work all of you did should be honored and everyone should be so proud of the results! Ash, please don’t sell yourself short. Your contribution to this suite is important. ❤

I watched you guys from the start, I really believed that all of you bit off more than you could chew. As the renovation continued I thought it would be inline with Chateau Diaries, never could I believe in the vision and end result of the 400 suite. My wife is an interior designer and the attention to detail left her speechless, she could not believe what the three of you had achieved. It is on par with craftsmen who have been at their trades for decades. The room that captivates us has to be the bedroom, the attention to detail and the use of antiques sets the room on exceed the look of the Ritz and high end turn of century hotels here in Canada. Well done to all who were involved in the jobs to make these rooms such eye catchers. 🇨🇦

Ash, you can continue to be amazed at the creativity of your partner but he could not have done this without you! You may not be able to always see the vision he has, but you helped it come alive! The suite is truly beautiful and your entire family has done a wonderful job!! It is an obvious labor of love for all of you.

It’s all gorgeous, but my favorite room is the bedroom. It’s simply stunning! I remember watching Terry restore the canopy over the bed. He took it from a broken piece of junk and made it an absolute piece of art!

Sorry to contradict you, Ash, but you ARE builders. You ARE tilers.You are designers, dreamers, electricians, gardeners, landscapers, restorers and so much more. I've been following your journey and am absolutely dumbstruck with the transformation from an overgrown, dilapidated property to a work of art. I've traveled to Europe and toured the great palaces from Versaille to Catherine the Great's summer home and your attention to detail has transformed Château de Lalacelle into something just as grand. I love the Georgian sittng room. It is so inviting, so stately, yet so cozy. I can imagine sitting there with the fire in the hearth and a glass of wine and being transported to a different time. How absolutely wonderful! I look forward to continue to follow your videos and the future progress that will be made. Hopefully one day I'll have the chance to drive up the wild flower-lined driveway and stay as a guest. To meet all of you would be such a treat. It's strange how the phenomenon of watching your vlogs over the years makes it seem that your family is as familiar to me as my own friends and family even though we've never actually met. It's not fair to make one choose just one room to like when the whole suite is sublime. From the blue and white bathroom with Vivienne's hand painted tiles and that magnificent chandelier to that resplendent bedroom with unsurpassed elegance and charm, each and every room has a memory of how Terry's ideas were executed and brought to life by a whole family of amateur craftsmen whose dedication to details and work ethic surpass most professionals. Anyone would be blessed to spend a night or two envisioning themselves as a châtelain of a fine estate. It is a generous offer to welcome an individual the opportunity to travel back through time and enjoy a life of regal quality and leisure.

I don’t travel anymore, so I prefer to watch you all in the afterglow of all your hard work. It truly is amazing, and I hope whomever goes is very respectful of that fact and take as good care of it as you all have and do! ❤

I love this entire suite, but my favorite room is the Bedroom. This is the truest restoration of a chateau bedroom, I have seen on KZread yet. CANT get enough of this suite.

Ahhh! Choose a room? Are you kidding?! I like every single one of them! I've watched from the very beginning the transformation of each and every room. From the crumbling floors, to the windows, to walls. The choice of colors, the gold trim. the dressing table mirror and bathroom mirror, just stunning choices. The trips to the broc huns, (is that spelled right), was awesome. I had SO much fun watching them. My mother was an Antique Dealer here in the US while I was a child. We went to nearly all 50 states searching for Antiques to resell. Your Broc Hun trips were a glorious reminder of those childhood trips with my mother. Because of my mother of course I LOVE antiquities and the shopping trips was a feast to my eyes. France has even more beautiful antiques than America does! Winning a free stay would be the trip of a life time. To walk in the garden your creating or down the lane to the original gate you just cleared would be like a fairy tale! Thank you for the years of joy you have provided me in watching your videos, here's to many more.

Am too auld now to travel but I have to tell you that these rooms are works of art. Terry is an artist no question about it. Though you may not see his vision you all support it with such love and lots of hard work. Huge credit to all who have brought this vision to life. BRAVO!

I am now 76 and have loved old decor all my life. What you have done with these rooms is unbelievable. That bathroom is to die for and I can dream of a nice hot bath in that beautiful tub with that view out the window before me. Terry you are a Master of Design. And with Ash and Tracy helping you out I don't think you can go wrong. Keep it up. I will be watching and enjoying e very step you take.

Favorite room HAS to be the bedroom, because I have tried to imagine what it would be like to be snuggled in that bed with its’ gorgeous canopy and then wake up to it in the morning. I love how the combination of the canopy, the room, and the bedding colors play off one another. Lalacelle never ceases to amaze.

I'm like you, Ash, there were times I have wondered what was in Terry's head, but we stayed with him, and just look at the fabulous results! Truly Amazing! I enjoy your family and channel so much, with the hard work, tenacious attitudes, your philanthropy with Jonathan's school, your attention to detail, the list of why I return every time there is a new video is very long! Thank you so much for including us in the journey! I love everything about the 400 suite, but I am extremely partial to the salon. The salon is very very close in color to my bedroom, and it is my favorite room in my house. The green is so calming, and life affirming, and it's always been my favorite color. Yes, I love the bathroom you guys have created, and thinking about soaking in the tub while enjoying the chandelier and view would be wonderful, and the bedroom, what a great night of sleep and relaxation would be had there, but the salon captures my soul. That's where I would want to park myself to read, play cards, listen to and dance to music, enjoy company, etc. The entire suite is spectacular and I cannot even imagine how 401 will top it! We love watching each room become beautiful. From dilapidated to delightful. I think my absolute favourite part of the rooms is the floor. I’d love to feel that wood under my feet. One of my favourite rooms is the bathroom. The blue flowers and that gorgeous soaking tub. Just amazin’!!

How can you pick “a favourite”? There is so much beauty in all of the rooms it is virtually impossible! And following your journey you know how much hard work went into creation of Suite 400. I have followed your whole journey since the very beginning and I am beyond proud of what you have all achieved together. I have suffered some pretty dark depression over the last few years and your channel has given me the light to pick me up on my darkest days. To know that with vision, dedication and some bloody hard work you can achieve anything you put your collective minds to has been a true inspiration to me. Terry, you are a true visionary, you have an incredible eye for detail and design as well as having the patience and resilience to see your dreams through to completion (regardless of any negative comments from viewers who didn't understand your vision or banter and teasing from your family and friends). Ash, your love for Terry and your faith and commitment to helping him see his dreams become a reality are the support and loyalty I wish everyone could have in their lives. Tracey, you have been the backbone of this whole endeavour and provided the stability and love to be the foundation for all the challenges faced so far (as well as setting one hell of a pace for getting things done). It has been beautiful to see you all grow and learn together and become closer than ever as a family unit through all your challenges. The whole suit is a living testament to the dedication and hard work of your family. The detail is incredible but I particularly like the way you have ensured the longevity of the Chateaux by going back to the stonework, the woodwork etc and building from scratch. Nothing is botched, every things speaks quality and love.

I have watched your journey from the beginning. My most memorable episode was the one when wall fell after the storm. My heart ached for all of you. Instead of throwing up your hands you accepted the loss and moved forward. What an example. You all have taught me that nothing is impossible with vision, hard work, patience, consistency and working as a team instead of as an individual.

Early 80's....a teenager with a romantic heart and an insatiable appetite for history. A dream evolves to one day put hands on ancient history. To have eyes soak up visions of dilapidated castles and Roman walls. To visit chateau's with history and lore. To walk along the Champs Elisee. To ride through the Highlands and hear about all the lore and superstitions. But alas, that teenager fell in love and had two beautiful babies who then became the all and everything in her world. Their health, happiness and education became the main focal point to life. Her dreams had to be put on hold for a while. Flash forward to present day, through anniversaries ,deaths and births. The dream is still there but the health has faded a bit as well as the financial capabilities. You tube is the mode of transport now. It takes us anywhere we want to go. Through channels like yours I can feel my dream, see my dream, live my dream. Thank you. You'll never know how much it means to me seeing you all live your dream. ❤

So hard to decide which room is my favorite, but I will pick the bedroom because of its opulence and grandeur. The complete tour of the 400 suite is very appreciated. Amazing how much work, planning and detail involved in the completion in Terry’s vision. Kudos and bravo ❤🏰

How can you possibly pick a room when they are all stunning. You have all put so much work into bringing this old girl back to life.

With how the chateau has turned out, I cannot imagine how stunning the formal gardens will look! I am in awe. I honestly didn't think there were people who could recreate such splendor in this day and age! So gorgeous and calming at the same time. All the rooms are amazing, but the chandelier in the bathroom is stunning to the point it mesmerizes me.

You have taken us on a dream journey. You are not the only one who had difficulty seeing Terry's vision. It was suspenseful until the finishing touches came to fruition. One of my favorite jobs was seeing you cast all the delicate moldings in situ and gilded. Perfection! My favorite room has to be that dream bedroom. I cannot imagine how the newest bedroom construction project can surpass this one. I would truly enjoy viewing your new garden. It will be spectacular for sure.

Having followed your journey from the beginning, I feel so pleased and proud for your family and what you have accomplished together. It is so exciting to watch you restore the Chateau to new life! The completed suite is stunningly beautiful and I very much admire Terry's attention to even the smallest details. This is what makes a place truly special. It is quite difficult to choose a favorite room. So much care has been taken to make this suite of rooms a complete experience - but I think one thing that really stands out is Terry's replication of the RMS Olympic ceiling - unique and amazing! It would be an honor and a privilege to enjoy a stay in these remarkable rooms.

The work that everyone has put into the 400 suite, let alone your personal home on the upper floor and the carriage house for Tracy and Jonathan, is hands down perfection! I’ve been watching and have been involved in the chats for quite some time now, and i know that those who built the château would be extremely proud of you all! You have created spaces that travel a person back in time when they enter them. My personal favorite of the 400 suite is the bedroom! The attention to detail in that room is extraordinary, a masterpiece! I know it has taken many people to bring the suite to life, but what has been done in the bedroom is beyond words. Terry’s vision is one for the history books, Tracy’s vision and workhorse mindset cannot be matched, Ashes workhorse mindset and determination is top notch, and Jonathan’s assistants in every part of the château is beyond his years, Tracy’s sister is a hidden gem with her workhorse mindset - and never one for attention. I’m proud of you all, for not only giving the château a new lease on life, but taking her back in time, to a place she started from, and deserves to stay in! I can’t wait to see what you do to the 401 suite, I know it will be as magnificent as everything else you have touched at the château! Congratulations 🎉🎈🍾🎊 on the final project of the 400 suite, I for one would love to stay there, but whoever gets the opportunity to stay will be the most fortunate person in the world to experience what you all have created! When the world shut down in 2020, I found your channel.. I look forward to every episode. I am absolutely amazed at the transformation to the chateau that you and your family have done.. I am a big gardener and am looking forward to seeing the walled garden come to life. The 400 suite is amazing. Each room is amazing. It is hard to pick just one. I love the coziness of the room with the fireplace, the thought of sleeping on a beautiful bed surrounded in grandeau and relaxing in your slipper tub with a view of the beautiful outdoors and the stunning chandelier. Whomever wins the drawing will get an experience of a lifetime.. Please keep posting. Your videos allow my heart and soul to dream.

Just finished watching the latest episode. Today, our 6 year old granddaughter watched it with us. She loved all the rooms, but her favorite room is the bedroom. It is absolutely stunning. All the details in the rooms are breathtaking. ❤ Someday, we hope to visit you. In the meantime, we watch each of your videos with great anticipation!

Watched from episode 1. What you all achieved is beyond imagination. Terry's vision, your determination to create what's in your mind is mind blowing. Tracy's amazing skills, love for detail. An example to us all. Ash you are so modest, but such extraordinary skills. Tiling, restore Radiators, plumbing, hinges, no matter what, your magic makes everything you touch new and exclusive. You truly performed a miracle. My absolute favorite room is the blue bedroom with all details. My husband unfortunately died suddenly Dec 21st but we looked so much forward to come this year and help you with what's on schedule. Very grateful that you share your dream with all of us viewers.

The beauty of those rooms is exquisite. They look like they were designed and finishes curated by a long time career designer. C'est la perfection.

The 400 Suite is truly a masterpiece of French chateau architecture and luxurious living. The fact that the suite consist of four rooms gives your guests a fairy tale sense of how living in a chateau in the 17th and 18th century must have been. I have watched each episode as Terry, Tracy Ash and the rest of your family and friends saved a chateau for future generations. As caretakers of this historic home you have diligently and carefully restored it for all of us to enjoy, whether as future guests or KZread viewers. Thank you all.

I started to watch your channel last year - half way of your renovation, and I got hooked - your dreams, your team, your vision, your imagination, your hard work and your taste inspire so many people. You are of those people who change world to a better place - you learn, you create, you challenge yourself and others, and you expand your physical, mental and emotional horizons for yourself and for your viewers. And as a result of all those things you have a new wonderful home, and you have a beautiful Chateau that is becoming a piece of Paradise with your hard work. I am sure you have bad days also. My favorite room has to be the bedroom. I showed my son and daughter in law, they were blown away. I would feel like a queen sleeping there.

I don't have a favourite! Have watched from the beginning how unique and with beautiful attention to detail all the rooms are. That includes your own living space.

The bedroom in the 400 Suite is by far the most beautiful room ever!! That is my favorite space over all. It's all gorgeous!

My 90 year old Mum and I have watched every episode while we are eating our lunch here in Canada. We love you all so much. We think that every room is stunning! My mum’s favourite room is the entrance room. She feels that it is very welcoming. I absolutely love the bathroom and can just imagine myself soaking in the tub and looking out the window at the beautiful French countryside. Keep up the great work everyone! I loved all the suite but my favorite was the bathroom. The rotten beans, rearranging the room and the artistry for LaLa Celle on the fixtures was remarkable.!❤

I think the bedroom of the 400 suite is my favorite of the 3 rooms. It just seems to glow with all the incredible details you all did! I have been a fan since the beginning (even the first videos before you arrived). I am so proud of you all! Thanks!

I personally want to thank you all for the miticuous work you have done to bring this place back to what it would have looked like originally. I see so many people buy these old homes and restore them to look like they were just built yesterday. They take away all of these charm and character of the places they purchase and it makes me cringe every time. I am so happy to see that you all restored it's charm and character. So beautiful.

The 400 suite is amazing! My favorite room is the bedroom - it looks as elegant as the best preserved royal suites of France. I have been a patron from the beginning and have enjoyed seeing the inventiveness, enginuity, and artistry that all members of the family have applied to the different aspects of the chateau.

The Grand Dame is back! What a facelift every piece of furniture and decorating accents are perfectly designed for a truly magical experience. Congratulations to whom ever wins your stay contest! It’s wonderful to have been part of this amazing renovation. All of you work with so much passion and that translates so well in the end product. Well done on this video. My husband and I would love to have a two night stay with you and experience first hand the luxurious 400 Suite.
